I originally
made the change to Triple X Chassis in the
mid of the 2013 campaign. We were in need of
a manufacture who could provide the safety
and performance and overall confidence that
we were lacking with our previous
manufacture. The results have been nothing
short of amazing. The first two events we
entered in the new car provided a 410 winged
and non-wing event wins. And from that point
on we haven’t looked back. Our 2013 campaign
concluded with 8 feature wins including the
Lou Blaney Memorial race at Sharon Speedway,
and two championships, Mercer Raceway Park
Track Champion and The Cavalcade Point
Champion.
Since making the switch over to Triple X
Chassis we have had a lot of success, but
one of our favorite characteristics would
have to be the overall safety. I have had my
fair share of incidents over the years
behind the wheel. And I lost all confidence
in a previous manufacture when I took a flip
and the main cage broke in more than one
place. It made me rethink everything. So I
began to do a lot of research. And overall
from the design down to the tubing, Triple X
was the answer I was looking for. They have
a proven track record.
I also have come to rely on the consistency
of our cars at multiple tracks. Running on
dirt it’s never the exact surface you ran
last week or with weather forcing us to
change venue for the evening, having a car
that can react well to change is a
necessity. It is a sigh of relief for the
team too. On more than one occasion we have
had one track rain out and have had to
completely change a car over, sometimes to a
different class, within hours of an event.
Our 2014 campaign is already off to a great
start too, with our first win of the year in
the books at Mercer Raceway Park. We look
forward to keeping up the momentum for the
rest of the season. And again I would like
to thank everyone at Triple X Chassis for
keeping us competitive in exceptional and
safe products.
Sincerely,
Jack Sodeman Jr. |

relation to a huge crash at the high speed

Not only Mark, but the
entire Coldren Motorsports team knows that
without the quality craftsmanship of the
car, and the safety equipment utilized by
Mark, the result of this crash could be much
worse. The team would like to extend their
deepest thanks to ButlerBuilt Seats, Simpson
Race Products, XXX Chassis, and Safety
Solutions, the manufacturer of the Hybrid
head and neck restraint. Without each of
these components working properly, as well
as the excellent work of the Port Royal

have been much, much worse.
“We’re highly impressed with the way the XXX
Chassis took the impact. Obviously, the car
is a loss, however, the front end took the
brunt of the force and the driver’s

ask for anything more after a hit like
that,” stated Mark’s crew chief and 358

points. The goals were not only met with
rookie of the year, a win at I-88 Speedway,
we also won the point championship by one

great, it responded to even the smallest

I've raced at 7 different speedways this

newer design I'm going to run in 2010.
I've had so much fun and the car has taught

else and is at a large advantage over other

Never drove a car that I loved this much. I
also have enough room for my ultra shield

I was involved in one
of the most prolific crashes many have ever
experienced at Devils Bowl Speedway in
Mesquite, Texas on May 9th, 2009. I am
including some photo's of before and after
the accident of my brand new, and when I say
BRAND NEW I mean every part on this car was
BRAND NEW, Triple XXX ASCS sprint car. The
wreck happened just past the flagstand while
taking the green flag for an ASCS Lone Star
Region heat race. I started on the outside
of row 1 and as we passed the flagstand I
was pinched into the wall with nowhere to
go. My car endo'd and twisted 8 times to the
end of turn one. I was knocked out briefly,
but came out of the car virtually unscathed.
I did have some sore neck and back muscles
for a couple of weeks, but considering what
my body went through, I was very fortunate
that there wasn't any major injuries.
As I scroll through your website, it's very
apparent that you build a winning product,
BUT I wanted to commend Triple XXX for
building a SAFE race car!! Although some of
the tubes were bent, NOT ONE WELD WAS BROKEN
OR CRACKED!! This is a testament to the
safety and quality measures made to keep us
drivers safe within your product. |

Just wanted to update
you on our season. Billy has been very
impressed with the XXX Chassis that we
purchased from you. He said he could make it
do anything. The other drivers have been
very surprised what it can do. We have been
placing in the top 5 most of the year. The
real test came Saturday night Sept. 27th
when a Heim connecting the Drag Link broke
and sent him into the wall at approx. 120
mph. The car sustained major damage but
Billy was able to walk away. Just a few
bruises and dislocated thumb. The XXX
Chassis did its job! I cannot tell you how
many people came over to our pits after the
race in "Awe" of what the car looked like.
We had many drivers say they were very
impressed with the way the cock pit stood up
to such an impact. I have even had a few
tell me they are going to look into buying
one for next season.
On a personal note our family would like to
thank you and all the people involved with

Well Jeff sure liked
the frame. He was going a lot faster with
this frame. We were asked how will it hold
up in a crash. We said it was strong and
have a lot of faith in the frame. We put it
to the test last Saturday night. He crashed
full speed they say it was one of the worst
crashes at Cottage Grove. I'm ordering the
video and will send you pictures from it
.The frame did it's job and my son walked
away with no injuries. The frame was bent
beyond repair. It broke the rear axle in 3
places, put a huge dent in his seat and all
that was salvaged from the car was engine,
steering, front axel, left wheels & tires.
It did brake the shock mount off and the
front cross bar broke. I will send pictures
of the frame. It is an excellent frame with
very strong welds. We will be buying 2 more
frames from Brian Crocket this spring and
start again. We thank you for bringing this

I was very pleased with the workmanship of
the lightweight axle I purchased from you
folks. All parts of it was first class.
When I installed it, to my surprise the
castor and toe in were perfect, requiring no
adjustments on my part! I will be ordering
more from you folks as needed, and my budget
permits. |
