April 21, 2007 - Huge Opening Night for XXX Chassis at "Home Track"

April 21, 2007 - In early 2006, Triple X Race Components Inc. was created with the mission to provide high quality racing components at exceptional prices. As a young company, Triple X Race Co needed a proving ground for their product. The logical choice was Skagit Speedway, a historic 3/10th mile clay oval located about 15 minutes from Triple X Race Co headquarters. Slowly, Triple X introduced their components into the three sprint car divisions at the track, building impressive credentials including a division championship in the 410’s, fueled by one of the first Triple X Race Co chassis.

Fast forward to April 21st of this year…Triple X Race Co cemented it’s presence at Skagit Speedway with an opening night performance that will be hard to duplicate, much less top. Start things off in qualifying, where 410 quick time Barry Martinez runs and sells Triple X Race Co components. Next take a look at defending Skagit Speedway 360 Nationals champion Travis Rutz setting quick time in the 360’s, in his brand new Triple X Race Co chassis. Next up was the heat races, where SIX OF THE EIGHT events was won by a Triple X Race Co chassis. The other two heats were won by drivers using Triple X components.

Now let’s take a peek at main event time. The Sportsman Sprint main event went to Kevin Smith, defending division champion, and one of the heat race winners from earlier in the night who was using many Triple X Race Co components. The 360 main was absolutely stuffed full of Triple X product, with 7 out of the 18 competitors running chassis or components, including third place finisher Travis Rutz. The 410 main went to fan favorite Brock Lemley, one of the first drivers to join the Triple X Race Co revolution, running his Triple X Race Co chassis. Eight of the top ten 410 main event cars were running Triple X product, with four of them using Triple X Race Co chassis.

Triple X Race Co thanks the many teams that helped us get off the ground at Skagit Speedway. We’re proud of everything you have accomplished, and look forward to a long and successful partnership with you at our “home track”!

March 29, 2007 - Kevin Eckert Editorial

March 29, 2007.  "A week ago, Chappell and Ray Brooks (his list of tracks would dwarf both drivers) brought the first

XXX chassis to the World of Outlaws. XXX has pushed the hot button topic of out-sourcing to the sprint car world. Because its components are manufactured in China, XXX sells for much less than the products of those who have ruled the American market. Accusations were hurled disparaging its quality in the hope that a safety scare might stop sales. It has not worked. Brooks brought a metallurgist to test XXX integrity to flying colors. And furthermore, Brooks and Chappell missed three straight transfers but since the switch, have made three straight."  Read the full story ...

March 20, 2007 - Chappell's First Weekend in New XXX Chassis Successful

Sedro Woolley, WA- World of Outlaws rookie sensation Zach Chappell faced a new challenge this past weekend: How to compete with the toughest sprint car drivers in the world while getting used to a brand new car. Chappell brought his brand new 2007 Triple X Race Co Revolution Chassis out for the first time Friday night at Houston Raceway Park, and according to Zach, he couldn't be happier. "The best thing I like about (Triple X Race Co Revolution Chassis) is when we made an adjustment, I could feel the difference..every change we made did everything we wanted it do. We were fast right out of the blocks."

At 6'3'', Zach is one of the taller sprint car drivers you'll ever meet. So finding a comfortable fit inside the car has always been a concern. Not with Triple X- "From the moment I climbed in, I felt comfortable. I've been running chassis from a different manufacturer all my life and I had to buy the tall chassis just so I could fit. In my Triple X Race Co Revolution, from the first time I sat in the seat, I felt right at home."

Zach looks forward to putting Triple X Race Co in victory lane with the World of Outlaws. After timing in 11th Friday night, Zach and the team are confident it's not a matter of IF, but WHEN. "The car just kept getting faster", said Zach. "We had so much left rear drive, we were trying to pull some out!" With Triple X Race Co Chassis and components, you too can end up in victory lane with your track or series.
