Tatnell Wins First WOO Race of 2007 |
|
August 24, 2007 - To say that
2007 has been a trying season for Brooke Tatnell
would be an understatement. Professionally, Brooke
and long time crew chief Troy Renfro faced a season
of uncertainty, putting together a new race team
after parting ways with the very successful Rush
Racing team. Personally, Brooke has had to deal with
the loss of his father, the legendary George Tatnell,
who succumbed to cancer early this year. Suffice to
say, Friday night’s victory over the World of
Outlaws at Skagit Speedway was a huge burden off the
back for the San Souci, New South Wales native.
Following many close calls this season, Tatnell
drove the wheels off his Volcano Joe’s Coffee
Company #2, winning his first World of Outlaws main
event of 2007. With his car running high-quality
Triple X Race Co components, Tatnell put on one of
the best shows of the year, trading slide jobs with
Daryn Pittman throughout the race and wowing the
large crowd. “We needed this as a team, and I needed
it as a driver,” Tatnell told World of Outlaws PR
director Tony Veneziano. The Woodward Racing Volcano
Joe’s Coffee Company team stocked up on Triple X
Race Co components before heading south to compete
with the World of Outlaws in California this
weekend. Congratulations Brooke, Troy and the rest
of the crew for getting back to the top of the
mountain with “The Greatest Show on Dirt!” |

of being too aggressive last week," said Sebetto

Huge Opening Night
for XXX Chassis at "Home Track" |
|
April
21, 2007 - In early 2006, Triple X Race Components
Inc. was created with the mission to provide high
quality racing components at exceptional prices. As
a young company, Triple X Race Co needed a proving
ground for their product. The logical choice was
Skagit Speedway, a historic 3/10th mile clay oval
located about 15 minutes from Triple X Race Co
headquarters. Slowly, Triple X introduced their
components into the three sprint car divisions at
the track, building impressive credentials including
a division championship in the 410’s, fueled by one
of the first Triple X Race Co chassis.
Fast forward to April 21st of this year…Triple X
Race Co cemented it’s presence at Skagit Speedway
with an opening night performance that will be hard
to duplicate, much less top. Start things off in
qualifying, where 410 quick time Barry Martinez runs
and sells Triple X Race Co components. Next take a
look at defending Skagit Speedway 360 Nationals
champion Travis Rutz setting quick time in the
360’s, in his brand new Triple X Race Co chassis.
Next up was the heat races, where SIX OF THE EIGHT
events was won by a Triple X Race Co chassis. The
other two heats were won by drivers using Triple X
components.
Now let’s take a peek at main event time. The
Sportsman Sprint main event went to Kevin Smith,
defending division champion, and one of the heat
race winners from earlier in the night who was using
many Triple X Race Co components. The 360 main was
absolutely stuffed full of Triple X product, with 7
out of the 18 competitors running chassis or
components, including third place finisher Travis
Rutz. The 410 main went to fan favorite Brock Lemley,
one of the first drivers to join the Triple X Race
Co revolution, running his Triple X Race Co chassis.
Eight of the top ten 410 main event cars were
running Triple X product, with four of them using
Triple X Race Co chassis.
Triple X Race Co thanks the many teams that helped
us get off the ground at Skagit Speedway. We’re
proud of everything you have accomplished, and look
forward to a long and successful partnership with
you at our “home track”! |

Saturday, Rilat again took his new Triple X Race Co
Chassis into battle, taking home a 2nd place finish
at Cowtown Speedway in the ASCS – Sooner Region.
“Typically when a guy switches over chassis, he’ll
struggle a bit, getting used to what to adjust
when…with this ( Triple X Race Co Chassis ) we came
out, adjusted it just like we thought we should and
it responded. It’s as good if not better than
anything else out there” he said. Rilat will look to
bring home his first win of the season this coming
weekend with the ASCS – American Sprint Cars on Tour
at Magnolia Motor Speedway. |
