31st. Team XXX started 2012 with
a huge heaping dose of momentum, as Blake
Hahn brought Triple X Race Co our fourth
Golden Driller by winning the Eco Tech
Midget main event at this years Tulsa
Shootout. Hahn, the grandson of ASCS promoter Emmitt Hahn, battled with
last year's champion Mike Ward in a Team XXX
dominated race before slipping away to the victory.

December 29th, 2011 - Smith Closes Out 2011 with
NSW Speedcar Championship |

29th. In the waning days of
2011, Matt Smith added a big title to his
resume. Driving his #69 XXX Speedcar
(Midget), Smith won the 70th running of the New
South Wales Speedcar Championship at Tyrepower
Sydney Speedway in Australia. Smith ran up front
most of the evening, piloting his XXX into the lead
for good with 8 laps to go while expertly handling
the slick track conditions. |

Sullivan’s XXX Debut Ends in Victory |

December 3rd.
Chad Sullivan and his car owner Ken Willsher made a
successful XXX debut on Saturday night down under
with a victory at Simpson Speedway in Victoria.
After fighting fuel and pill issues early in the
night, Sullivan ran through the B Main and came from
11th deep in the A to make a pass for the win with
two laps left on the high side. |

Lightning Sprint winner in Australia. Piloting his
Ford powered XXX Midget / Lightning Sprint,
McTaggert took the win at Tyrepower Sydney Speedway
to become the first XXX driver to score a victory

Current Australian 360ci Sprintcar Champion Ryan
Jones opened up his 360ci Sprintcar racing season in
the best way possible after winning the opening
round of the Australian 360 Sprintcar Allstars
Series at the Murray Bridge Speedway. After starting
on the front row of the final Jones battled hard
with former series Champion Colin Brooks and former
Australian Champion Tony Moule but after a number of
lead changes it was Jones who greeted the chequered
flag first in his Murray Machining and Sheds #1 XXX. |

Matt Covington has been stringing a good run of
races together in the recent weeks, capping off his
hot performance with a win against the Lucas Oil
ASCS National Tour on Saturday night at Southern New
Mexico Speedway in Las Cruces, NM. Capitalizing on
positive momentum coming from the Short Track
Nationals, Matt took the OEM #11c XXX to a 4th place
finish on Friday night’s feature after coming from
last to win his heat race. The finish locked him
into Saturday night’s a main, where he parlayed a
front row starting spot to the wire to wire win over
the best 360 racers in the land. Brady Bacon helped
fill the podium by bringing his XXX sprint home
second. Congratulations to Matt and the team on the
W! |

November 13th, 2011 - McDonald’s Maiden XXX

13th. The Edge Parts &
Performance team is off to a rip roaring
start at their home track of Ruapuna
Speedway in Christchurch, New Zealand. Former NZ
national champion Jamie McDonald took up team owner
Jason Scott’s invitation to run a XXX chassis on the
Sunday afternoon meeting, and McDonald made the
decision pay off by scoring the race win. McDonald
took the lead with a three wide move on the super
slick track, relegating Scott to second place in his
own car on the day. Congratulations to Jamie, Jason
and the rest of the team on the successful meeting! |

After a quietly successful American season, Matt
Smith returned home to Australia and has found
success early in the Midget / Speedcar season. On
Saturday night, Matt took the Speedcar win in the
#69 XXX at Tyrepower Sydney Speedway in New South
Wales, Australia. |

High Note |

Gardner finished out his championship season with a
victory in the second of twin features on Saturday
night. Running with the USCS, Gardner picked up his
second victory of the year winning at Riverside International
Speedway in Arkansas. |

October 28th, 2011 - Bacon Wins Short Track
Nationals Prelim, 2nd in Finale |

28th. Brady Bacon wrapped up an
awesome weekend at the short track nationals
with a win on the Friday night preliminary
feature and a runner up performance in the
$15,000 to win, 40 lap Short Track Nationals
on Saturday night. Brady led all 25 laps
from his outside pole position for the
feature win that showcased multiple Team XXX
drivers making top ten finishes. Travis Rilat took his XXX to a third place
finish, while ASCS Lone Star region champion Matt
Covington came home 6th and leading Lucas Oil ASCS
Rookie of the Year contender Aaron Reutzel finishing
10th. All four drivers would make Saturday night’s
finale, with Bacon advancing up to second place
before the final flag flew, scoring himself a
$10,000 payday for the runner up spot. |

Sprint Season with 5th Win |

If it weren’t for some early season motor woes, Mike
Herrington would be standing atop the final Cajun
Sprints Association point standings. As is,
Herrington wwill have to settle for being the most
successful driver on the tour, with a series leading
5th win coming on the fnal race night of the year at
Pike County Speedway in Mississippi with his XXX
chassis. |

for 600 Win |

22nd. An incredible weekend of
racing culminated with a back to front
feature win for Josh Shipley on Saturday
night. After chasing mechanical gremlins,
Shipley won his B Feature then came from a
17th place starting position to challenge
for the lead with 6 laps left. As the only
driver on the high side of the track,
Shipley rode the rim around the leader to
take the lead and complete the improbable
run, as he crossed the final flags with a
full straightaway advantage in his XXX 600. |

October 8th, 2011 - Montieth Wins 2nd In A Row,
6th Of The Year At Lincoln |

8th. Four-time Lincoln track
champ Brian Montieth is
known as “the Edge,” but he’s been far from it with
racing-winning passes over the past two major shows
at Lincoln Speedway. Montieth started third in
Saturday’s 23rd Annual Hank Gentzler Manufacturers
Appreciation Race and drove under outside front row
starter Greg Hodnett for second in the first turns.
After that, he chased polesitter and race-long
leader Danny Dietrich for the first 18 laps before
pulling the slider to make the race-winning pass in
turns three and four of lap 19. |

tough 2011 got a lot better for Justin Sturch on
Saturday night, as the former I-30 track champion
picked up a victory on Saturday night. Racing at
Diamond Park Raceway in Arkansas, Sturch beat some
of the toughest hombres in the south including Gary
Taylor, Tim Crawley and Gary Wright to pick up the
victory in his #9 XXX chassis, his first W of the
year. |

a handful of wins coming during the year, Cody Baker
was not ready to be finished with his race season.
After the season finished up at Double X Speedway,
Baker brought his XXX Sprint to Valley Speedway in
Missouri for their non-points events and topped the
field this past Saturday night, winning the A
Feature over the rest of the 22 car group. |

beat a stout field of non-wing sprints en route to

Michael and the Bill Gallagher #5g inched one step
closer to claiming their second URC points
championship in a row and #8 overall for Curt with a
main event win on Saturday night at Delaware
International Speedway. Michael took the lead on lap
two in his XXX chassis and set sail from the field,
only letting his competitors close in on him after
yellow flags. |

Josh Shipley clinched the ASCS 2 Cactus Region 600
title with a win this week in his XXX 600 at USA
Raceway in Tuscon, AZ. The win, which came by ½ a
lap over his nearest competitor, guarantees Josh the
points championship with a remarkable two races left
on the schedule for the Cactus Region. |

XXX Midget Slides To Victory |

Blake Hahn thought he was having too easy a
go of things at Creek County Speedway in
Oklahoma. After leading the first 12 laps of
the 15 lap ASCS 2
Midget main event with no one near him, Hahn got a
stiff late challenge from Kevin Bayer that turned
into a contest of slidejobs in the waning laps. On
the final circuit, Blake stuck a move coming out of
turn two, then maintained speed on the high side of
turns three and four to hold off the charging Bayer
for the win in his XXX midget. |

30th. Steve Owings ended 2011 in
the same way he started it – in victory
lane. Racing in the 358 Sprint division at
Trail Way Speedway in Pennsylvania, Owings
found victory lane for the third time this
season after running down and passing the
race leader in traffic at the halfway point
of the race to take the win in his XXX. |

30th. Race win #8 was another
big one for Sean McClelland, who led every
lap of the Sprint Car Fall Nationals at
Outlaw Motor Speedway in Oklahoma and
extended his points lead with the OCRS in
the process. Post race, Sean spoke highly of
the setup his crew chief put into his XXX
chassis…”I really have to thank Shane
tonight (Crew Chief Shane Vandervliet). He
really did everything to the car. I didn’t even have
to ask him what he was doing. It drove like a dream
tonight.” |

24th. If there’s a big race
being run at Lincoln Speedway in PA, you
know Brian Montieth will be in the hunt for
the win. On Saturday night, one of the biggest
nights of the year went to “The Edge”, as Brian took
a page from the Fred Rahmer playbook en route to
winning the A Main event which paid out over $6,800.
Montieth made his moves on race restarts, taking
second from the aforementioned Rahmer and the lead
from Stevie Smith after early lap cautions bunched
the field up. “My hat’s off to Scott (Zellers) and
the boys” said Montieth, “They gave me a car that I
could pretty much drive anywhere.” |

Nationals Win for Miller |

24th. Kyle Miller is near an
unstoppable force running wingless in
Oregon. For the third straight year, Miller
topped Cottage Grove Speedway’s Non Wing
Nationals 50 lap A Feature. After winning
his preliminary race the night before,
Miller started in the first row on Saturday
night, and ran second for the first 38 laps
of the 50 lap main, before finding just
enough traction off the bottom of turn 4 to
rocket down the front straightaway into the

17th. The Frank Filksov Memorial Fall Classis has been a
race that Brian Kristan has been trying to win for
as long as he’s strapped into a Sprint Car. When he
unhooked his belts from his XXX chassis on Saturday
night, Kristan stepped out of his car with the
biggest win of his career, as he topped the strong
field of IRA Sprints at the Plymouth Dirt Track in
Wisconsin to take home this year’s Fall Classic.
Kristan stepped out to the lead early, and held off
all challengers to bring home the W in the 27 lap
feature event. |

16th. Aaron Fell made his DLX 1200 mini sprint into a
slidejob machine on Friday night en route to a main
event win. After leading the first 12 laps of the

gave second place runner Brock Lemley the
opportunity to begin the slidejob parade. For evry
move Brock made, Aaron countered, and when the dust
settled, the DLX reigned supreme for the Abbotsford,
BC native, as Aaron won his third feature of the

years of efforting, Ariel Biggs and
car owner Don Emery finally found paydirt on Friday

their Ford Focus Midget, the 16 year old Biggs put a
whoopin’ on the field for her first career win,
followed by fellow XXX midget driver Gaylon Stewart. |

his combined feature win total to 6 on the season as
of 9/26. |

call Kyle Miller a non-wing specialist is a
disservice: the young Oregon native has won races
and championships with wings on as well. What may be
more appropriate is to call him the man to beat in
NW Non Wing Racing, as Kyle took on the 27 car field
Sunday night at Cottage Grove Speedway and won every
race he entered on the night to claim the non-wing
win in his XXX chassis. |

3rd and 4th. After finally
conquering his mechanical gremlins in his
engine, Brian Beebe put everything together
to win his first sprint car races during the
biggest weekend of the year at Lake Ozark
Speedway in Missouri. Running in the 305
division, Beebe won the feature on both
night of racing during the Lake Ozark
Speedway Nationals in his XXX chassis.

Rick Wilson loves Labor Day Weekend. For the fourth
time in his career, Wilson took Sunday nights Labor
Day Classic victory at Brighton Speedway in Ontario,
Canada. On top of the late race pass he pulled off
for the win on Sunday night, Wilson was also the
victor on Saturday night’s prelim, taking over the
lead of that race midway through en route to a
double dip winning weekend with the Southern Ontario
Sprints. |

2007 MRP champion, narrowly nipping Dothage at the
line as the two drivers and their XXX chassis smoked
the field on their way to 1-2 finish. |

Smith on lap 14 then ran away from the field to take
the 30 lap, $5,000 “Jersey Rush” win on Tuesday at

Jerry Richert Jr won his third UMSS feature of the season
and extended his points lead on Saturday night at
Rice Lake Speedway in Wisconson. Jerry led all

despite losing his brakes at the midway point of the

Jayson Ditsworth is one race away from claiming the
points title in the 305 Sprint division at 34
Raceway in Burlington, IA. On Saturday night,
Ditsworth took advantage of his pole position
starting spot by bringing home his fourth win of the
season to extend his advantage heading into Friday
night’s Brain Hetrick Memorial which will determine
the title. |

August 26th, 2011 - Marks Takes The Grove In
His New XXX Wedge Chassis |

26th. Brent Marks held off a
charging Brian Montieth to claim
the sprint car feature at Williams Grove Speedway on
Friday night by .067 seconds, or a half car length.
It was close. Marks started seventh in the 25-lap
sprint main and advanced into fourth on the first
circuit, and worked his way into 1st by lap 8. From
there, Marks held off all challenges, and edged out
fellow XXX racer Montieth at the finish line.

circuit with another win this past weekend. Battling

for the lead on lap 22 en route to the

half a second racing was competitive all

chassis. After winning the Tulsa Shootout, Derek

laps to score his first win of the year at his home

Lucas Oil ASCS EcoTec Midgets made their first foray
into the Sunflower State with a Friday night showing
at Humboldt Speedway. Advancing from his
outside 2nd row starting spot, Sapulpa, Oklahoma's
reigning 2010 Lucas Oil ASCS2 Outlaw Champion and
2011 Tulsa Shootout Outlaw Sweeper, Blake Hahn shot
by the polesitter at the midway point of the 20 lap
affair. Hahn would survive a late caution flag and
take his 1st Lucas Oil ASCS triumph of the 2011
campaign aboard the Speedway Vending, Metric Cycles,
XXX Race Co., Hoosier Tire, LaJoie Seating, and Tel
Star Communications sponsored no. 52. It would be
Hahn's second career Lucas Oil ASCS Midget score
following a Cowtown Speedway victory last November. |

BANKS, Ore. - Gary Davis has made himself at home at
Sunset Speedway this season. For the third time in
as many trips the Northwest Wingless Tour sprint car
series has made to the Banks, Ore. track this season
it was Davis who was in the winners circle following
Saturday's main event. The Albany, Ore. driver
needed just a few laps to charge from the fourth
starting position to get by pole-sitter to take the
lead. From there, Davis never looked back, driving
the Robert O'Neil No. 9 Triple X. |

years of open wheel racing with a win at Marysville
Raceway Park in California. The current MRP points
leader in the Wingless Spec Sprint class, Youngman
took to the point early and fended off some stiff
challenged on his way to the win in his XXX

An All XXX Podium |

August 12th. Doug Esh waited until the final turns of the final lap to
steal the win in Friday’s 25-lap sprint car feature
at Williams Grove Speedway. After starting in the
12th spot, Esh earned a $500 bonus for the win that
ended up being worth more than $4,100. The
podium was rounded out by all TeamXXX racers, with
Brent Marks coming home in second from his 7th
starting spot, and Derek Sell finishing 3rd after
leading the initials laps.

August 7th, 2011 - Brady Bacon Sweeps USAC
Knoxville Non-wing Nationals |

August 7th. With
another great crowd on hand, Brady Bacon was without
peer at the third running of the USAC Knoxville
Non-wing Nationals on Sunday night at the Knoxville
Raceway. Bacon posted quick-time, won his heat and
the feature. It was the Broken Arrow, Oklahoma
driver’s first win at a track in which he has played
the bridesmaid on a few occasions. It came aboard a
XXX Chassis with Wesmar power and was worth $5,000.
Brady was complimentary of his ride Sunday. "The car
was just good all night," he says of the XXX
Chassis. "Running with a wing at this place helps
you a lot when you take it off. Everything slows
down, and it helps you keep the car straighter.".

dominating main event again at Cottage Grove
Speedway on Saturday and scored his second
Northwest Wingless Tour sprint car series
main event victory of the season, and with
his third career NWWT triumph he is now the all-time leader in main
event wins in the tour’s short history. The
Eugene, Ore. driver started the 30-lap main event on
the outside of the front row after finishing second
to hometown driver Dale Smith in the trophy dash
event earlier in the evening. Miller took the lead
off the start and led the entire way, never looking
back as he lapped everyone but second and third
place finishers. After a restart with seven laps
completed, the final 23 laps went non-stop and
Miller commenced on lapping one car after another
aboard the Scott Miller No. 10 Nutter-powered Triple
X. |

led every lap of the A Main event, running his

Night With His XXX Beating A Field Of 410's With a 360 |

9th. Casey Shuman, a night after
testing his own Barnhill/Shuman machine with
a new XXX 360 cubic inch power plant at Gas
City to open Indiana Sprint Week, captured
an impressive sprint car victory at Lincoln
Park Speedway. After the leader collected an
infield tire on the initial start, when the
feature went green, Shuman was the man to
beat, he rocketed from the re-start and
Shane Hollingsworth was in chase throughout
the feature. Shuman gathered a solid lead
and built upon it over the course of the
feature. As lapped traffic played a factor
over the final laps, Shuman held his spot
with Hollingsworth claiming second. |

9th. Chris Donnelly is a tough
man to beat at the moment. Running with the
SCONE series I the Northeast, Donnelly has
now been in victory lane 3 times in the past
month at Bear Ridge Speedway in Vermont,
including this past Saturday night. Starting
in 11th position, Chris passed a car per lap
in his XXX on his way to the lead by lap 11,
then lapped up to 7th place on the field.

9th. Following a bad night on
the Oregon coast a month ago, Gary Davis has
since caught fire. On Saturday night, Davis
won the Northwest Wingless Tour sprint car
series main event at Sunset Speedway in
dominating fashion for the second time in
three weeks. Davis, from Albany, Ore.
was just a tiny fraction of a second's time
in qualifying from a second consecutive
clean sweep. Davis came from the fourth
starting position to win his heat race, got
the luck of the draw and won the trophy dash
from the pole, and then led all 30 laps of
the NWWT
main event aboard his No. 9 Chevy-powered Triple X.
This follows his win at the same 1/4-mile,
slightly-banked red clay oval just two weeks
earlier.

division for the Wolrd of Outlaws, Scanlon gave XXX
their 3rd win in the state of Wisconsin this season. |

9th. Skagit Speedway mid-season
championship night saw Colton Heath starting
8th in the scramble and moving up to fifth.
He used that starting position in the main
to move quickly into 3rd position and set
sight on the leaders. A lap 11 caution for a
spinning 4th place car bunched the field.
Heath used that restart to get around point
leader Whitney and set sail for the leader,
Jacobson. Nearing lap 20 the two encountered
traffic with Jacobson choosing one line to
get around the lapper and Heath the other.
Heath passed Jacobson on lap 21 and was
never headed the rest of the way. For Heath
is was his first win in the LAW Motorsports
car that has two Dirt Cup victories under
it's belt.
Congrat's to Colton, Round Man, and the rest of the
LAW Motorsport team. Wish I was there to see

1st. The battle between the McClelland
boys near the top of the Team XXX race wins list
evened up this past weekend, with brother Brian
scoring an ASCS Warrior
v Sooner region contest at Springfield Raceway in
Missouri. Brian led all twenty five laps of the main
event for his XXX chassis win of the year, tying
brother Sean on the leaderboard.

1st. Some last minute thrashing
turned out for the better for Kara King.
Running her XXX 600 micro sprint at the Powri / Badger Fanfest race this past weekend in
Illinois, Kara had to switch her car to coil over
suspension after a bad wreck left her in a lurch
from the previous week. The switch to coils made a
huge difference for the 24 year old, as she led all
20 laps of the 600 main at Belle-Clair Speedway to
take the preliminary night feature win, her first
victory with Powri since 2004. |

July 1st, 2011 - Shipley Extends ASCS 2

1st. Josh Shipley has really
taken to his new chassis and motor
combination in 2011. Running XXX 600 chassis
with Hollingworth power, Shipley picked off another
race win at Thunder Raceway in Show Low, AZ on
Friday night, then backed up that performance with a
second place run on Saturday night to extend his
already large points lead in the ASCS 2 Cactus
Region. |

1st. Fred Mattox had one wail of
a night at Brill Motor Speedway in Oklahoma.
After winning his heat race, Fred led every
lap of the the twenty lap A Main to score
his first Brill victory virtually
unchallenged. |

1st. Justin Melton has had his
fair share of success in micro sprints,
karts and 360 sprints. So it comes as no
surprise that in one of his first 305 sprint
runs, the Dallas native found victory lane,
this time on a Friday night at RMP Speedway in Crandall, TX.

Speedway to his liking on Sunday night, as
he made his way into the lead on 12 and led
the final half of the race comfortably to
score the win in his XXX chassis. For Baker,
it was win number one on the season in his
XXX powered by a home built motor. |

Second Straight Win |

26th. Todd Lehr has long been
known as one of the fastest men at Wilmot
Raceway, and this past Saturday night
confirmed it. After a lap three spinout sent
him to the rear of the field in the 1200
division, Todd stood hard on the loud pedal
and passed the entire field on his way to
claiming his second straight win in his DLX 1200 chassis. |

Princeton |

25th. Jerry Richert Jr loves running his XXX at Princeton
Speedway. On Saturday night, Jerry won his second
feature in as many tries with the UMSS sprint cars
at the Minnesota track, leading all 20 laps from the
front row en route to his second feature win of the
year in as many nights at Princeton. |

June 25th, 2011 - Davis Bounces Back For
Victory |

June 25th. Three
weeks ago, Gary Davis left the race track with a
destroyed race car. Saturday night at Sunset
Speedway however, Davis had a new car put together
and this time came away with his first career
Northwest Wingless Tour sprint car series main event
win, capping off a clean sweep of the entire
program. Davis, out of Albany, Ore. and a
former USCA champion, led all but four of the
scheduled 30 laps in the main event, taking over the
lead from NWWT points leader Corey Esteban on Lap 5.
From there, Davis never looked back as he won by
more than three seconds at the finish line in his
No. 9 Chevy-powered Triple X. |

June 25th, 2011 - Peterson Gets 2nd Win Of

25th. Jared Peterson
looked like he was shot out of a cannon on
Saturday night at Skagit Speedway, as
“Petey” found winner’s circle for the second
time on the year. From his outside row one
starting spot, Jared beat fellow Team XXX
driver Rod Perkins into turn number one,
then streaked away from the field, enjoying
a half straightaway or more advantage for
the duration of the 25 lap 360 feature.

June 25th, 2011 - Harkness Back In Victory

25th. A 5 year drought was
ended Saturday night at Skagit Speedway in
Alger, WA as Brandon “PeeWee” Harkness
put the Steve Parker owned #23 in victory lane.
Harkness, a former track champion and current 360
division track record holder, has been off and on in
the driver’s seat for multiple owners since roughly
2006. After Parker, the car owner, was injured early
in the year, Harkness got the call to dust off his
helmet and come back to the track. On Saturday
night, Brandon stalked Cory Swatzina for the first
18 laps, then with two to go, narrowly shot the gap
between Cory and the wall on the front straightaway
to take the lead and the eventual win in Parker’s
#23 XXX chassis. |

June 24th, 2011 - Esh Hammers To Victory At
The Grove |

24th. “The Hammer,” Doug Esh of Lancaster hammered his way
through the field to pick up his first sprint car
win of the season at Williams Grove Speedway Friday
night, chiseling his way past Aaron Ott with eight
laps to go in the 25-lap main for 410 sprint cars.
In a TeamXXX 1-2, Montieth came from deep in the
field to 2nd.

24th. Win number one on the year
was a big one for Jacob Patton, driver of
the Quick Racing Products #79 XXX 600. Jacob
led close to two thirds of the laps of the
preliminary night of the Mike Phillips
Memorial at Southern Illinois Raceway in
Marion, IL to claim his first Powri series win of 2011. The win set the
tone for Patton’s final night, where he brought home
a top ten run against the ultra-tough field. |

June 24th, 2011 - Fell Captures First Win Of
2011 With A Clean Sweep |

24th. Aaron Fell pulled off the
ever elusive clean sweep in the 1200 class.
After rolling an eight for the invert, Aaron
methodically worked his way forward until he
was right on the rear nerf of race leader. On a lap
18 restart, Fell found traction on the inside of
turn one, blasting by Davison coming through turn
two to assume the lead and take his first win of the
season. Aaron also set quick time and won his heat
race. |

18th. Jay Galloway took the lead
from polesitter Steve Storrie
on lap four and dominated en route to his first
career 358 sprint car win in the regularly scheduled
20-lap feature at Lincoln Speedway. Galloway’s final
margin of victory was 1.39. "I’ve won a lot of
motorcross races," said a jubilant Galloway upon
exiting his Helicopter Applicators #27, "But there’s
nothing like racing a sprint car. My wife keeps
reminding me that I don’t do this for a living,
because if I did, we’d be poor!". |

have helped David Dutton. While Creek County
Speedway is closed for repairs after
disastrous weather, the Creek County Champ
Sprints moved to Thunderbird Speedway in
Muskogee, OK. The major beneficiary so far
has been David Dutton, who after picking up
a race win late last season, found victory
lane again in his XXX sprint car this past
Friday night. |

11th. Sheldon Haudenschild has been getting faster and faster as
the weather has warmed up, and this past Saturday
night at K-C Raceway in Chillicothe, OH, Haud was
simply on fire en route to winning his first feature
of the year. Piloting his XXX chassis in the 410
division, Haud had the car hooked up anywhere he
wanted to go, as he took over the lead early and ran
away from the field for his first feature win in
2011. |

gone global with our race winners. Duncan
Panton purchased his XXX from Kear’s Speed
Shop in late 2010, and has since visited victory
lane multiple times. Duncan officially owns the
first XXX chassis wins in the United Kingdom and
Belgium, with victories coming May 22nd at Warneton
Speedway in Belgium and June 11th at Arena Essex
Raceway in the UK. |

at West Plains Motor Speedway in Missouri. |

better start to his sprint car career. After

left in his 2010 campaign, Derek’s true

Speedway, as the “Flyin Fireman” not only

win as well in the Sportsman Sprint division
this past Saturday night. On the year,
Robert’s has won three features, which over
his seven race career, makes for a pretty

3rd. Jimmy Brookens found the results he was looking for on
Friday night at Path Valley Speedway, as the track

out events. In feature one, Brookens navigated his

applied everything he’d learned about the track to
set his car up perfectly for feature #2 as he
cruised to victory in the evening’s finale. |

3rd. Many Pennsylvania Tracks have been
running twin features recently to help their
drivers make up for missed seat time due to
the wet weather that has plagued the USA
this race season. Steve Owings was the
beneficiary to the twin feature trend, as he
won the makeup feature from 5/27 at
Trail-Way Speedway in their 358 division.
Owings ran from eighth all the way up to the
lead by the end of the seventh lap to claim

29th. Brady Bacon topped the ASCS Sooner / NCRA Sprints on
Sunday night for his first feature win of the year
at the Steve King Memorial in Jetmore, Kansas.
Racing at The Great American Dirt Track, Bacon took
the lead around lap twenty and held off overall
points champion Jack dover to score the feature win
which makes him 3 out of 4 at Steve King Memorial
races in his XXX chassis. |

To Claim Lincoln Keystone Cup Win |

28th. Lincoln Speedway is Brian Montieth’s house. He proved it
again Saturday night, leading from start to finish
to claim the $5,000 top prize over a stellar field
in the 30-lap Keystone Cup Series feature event.
Lincoln’s three-time defending track champ started
on the outside of the front row and road the cushion
to the lead through the first two turns and never
looked back. Although he encountered lapped traffic
as early as lap five and raced wheel-to-wheel while
trying to hold off Ott over the middle stages of the
race, Montieth pulled away after a 26th lap caution
to a 3.03-second win. |

lap, Derek Roberts made it a little bit

division. Roberts led an all XXX top three,
with Steve Parker and Rob Schroder filling
the podium with their XXX chassis. |

chassis, and for good reason: The Reigning
and Defending ASCS Sooner
Region Champion is fast everywhere he goes with his
car. This past Friday night, McClelland strapped in
a carbureted motor to his XXX for the first time and
visited victory lane at the OCRS race at Thunderbird
Speedway in Muskogee, OK. Sean not only won the
race, but was so fast that he was lapping cars by
the seventh circuit. “It’s my car and this is the
first time we have ran a carbureted motor in it and
it drove like a dream. I have to thank XXX (chassis)
for that”, said Sean in post race interviews. |

21st. Bradley Terrell has 11
career wins at Petaluma Speedway, but it was
his first win in a XXX chassis that may go
down as the most memorable. After trading
the lead with fellow Sebastopol, CA native
Geoff Ensign, Terrell would go wheel to
wheel and wing to wing with Ensign in a drag
race to the final flag, with Bradley taking
the win by eight thousandths of a second. |

May 21st, 2011 - Smith, Shouse & Brewer Put
Team XXX On Top at CCS |

May 21st. All three
Sprint Car divisions at Creek County Speedway were
topped by XXX chassis this past weekend, with Danny
Smith, Andy Shouse and Cody Brewer topping the
action.
In the Champ Sprint class, Smith won his first
feature of the season in his XXX chassis, leading
every lap of the feature. Three of the top five
finishers were in XXX chassis.
In the Injected Sprint class, Shouse also was a
first time winner on the year, driving his Bishop
Racing House Car to the win after leading every lap.
Much like the Champ Sprints, the top 5 was dominated
by Team XXX drivers, with 4 of the top 5 cars being
XXX chassis.
The E Sprint division is gradually building at Creek
County Speedway, and this week, it was Cody Brewer
finding victory lane in a former Brady Bacon Racing
XXX.

May 14th, 2011 - Rilat Caps Comeback with
ASCS Win |

14th. Travis Rilat completed one of the all time great comeback
stories in Sprint Car racing this past weekend, when
he won the ASCS Gulf South main event at Texana
Raceway Park in Edna, TX. Less than one year after
suffering third degree burns in a methanol
explosion, Rilat found lady luck smiling on him as
he piloted his XXX sprint. After trading moves with
race leader Jason Johnson, Travis took the lead for
good in turn three of the final lap en route to his
first victory since the accident. We at Triple X
Race Co are extremely proud to be associated with
Travis and send out huge congratulations on
returning to victory lane where he belongs! |

a new ride to victory lane this past weekend.
Driving the Dennis Marshala owned #11c XXX,
Covington won his first feature of the year and in
the process extended his points lead by leading all
but one lap of the 25 lap main at Lawton Speedway in
Oklahoma. After coming close to race wins in
previous races in his family owned XXX, Matt won his
heat and almost went wire to wire on the tough
SOnner region field despite battling brake issues. |

an evening for Jimmy Christian on Friday
night. Driving his Wingless Spec Sprint XXX

Christian was behind the eight ball early in
the night after blowing up a steering gear
during his heat race. After swapping out the
gear, Christian made the most of a bad
situation as he raced from dead last in the
A Main to Victory Lane, blowing by race
leader Ryan Bernal in the late stages of the
contest to take his first feature win of the
year. |

30th. Joey Allen and the Allen
family have a long and storied tradition of
winning in Pennsylvania. After a 12 year
layoff, Joey Allen resumed his winning ways
this past Saturday night at Lincoln Speedway
in PA, leading all 20 laps of the main
event. Allen and his team proved that it
isn’t always the big hauler teams that
triumph in Central PA, as his car owner
brings his XXX chassis to the track on an
open trailer towed by a Chevy Suburban. |

30th. Former New Zealand
National Champion Dean Brindle closed out
his race season with a bang as he defended
his Waikato Sprint Car Championship for the
second straight season at Kihikihi Speedway in Te Awamutu,
New Zealand. Brindle won three championships over
the race year in his XXX chassis and will be looking
for more accolades as he prepares head stateside for
race action on May 28th at Skagit Speedway. |

April 30th, 2011 - Dolick Wins in Western PA |

30th. Jason Dolick rode his #D12 XXX chassis to victory lane in
Western Pennsylvania this past weekend. Running at
Mercer Raceway Park, Dolick would lead 17 of the 25
laps on his way to victory lane over the tough 410
sprint car field. Making the win more impressive was
the fact that Dolick has a two man team; himself and
father Larry. Well done, Team Dolick! |

30th. Non Wing ace Matt Westfall
brought home top honors from this past
weekend’s non-sanctioned race at Eldora
Speedway. Following some early race carnage,
Westfall had nothing but green flag laps to
figure out how to catch and pass Scotty Weir
for the chance at the big trophy and big
check. On lap 20, Matt made his move,
sliding inside Weir then holding him off for
the final five circuits to take the win at
Ohio’s most famous raceway in his XXX
chassis. |

April 30th, 2011 - Miller Tears Up The Grove,
Sweeps NWWT Opener |

30th. Kyle Miller loves his
non-wing sprint car racing, and it showed on
Saturday as he raced his way to a very
dominating clean sweep of the season opener
for the NorthWest Wingless Tour sprint car series at Cottage
Grove Speedway.
Miller, from Eugene, set fast time in qualifying,
charged from sixth to quickly take the lead and win
his heat race, charged from the fourth spot to win
the trophy dash and the pole for the main event and
then led all 25 laps of that main event for his
second career NWWT victory aboard the Scott Miller
No. 10 Springer-powered Triple X. |

30th. Skagit Speedway was a wide
open three lane race track on Saturday
night, which allowed Jayme Barnes run up
against the fence and all the way down on
the bottom to lead all 25 laps of the Main
for the win. Including a lap of 11.079 on
just the second night of racing this year. |

April 30th, 2011 - Roberts First Career Win

30th. Derek Roberts has made the
transition to a full size sprint car look
easy. After cutting his teeth in the local
mini sprint wars, Roberts graced victory
lane for the first of what he hopes will be
many times as he won the Sportsman Sprint
main event at Skagit Speedway on Saturday.
The win was the first in Roberts’ open wheel
career, and came on a kamikaze dive to the
inside groove of the final corner on the
final lap in his XXX chassis. To top it off,
the win came in Derek’s 4th Sprint Car main
event ever. |

Picking up where he left off in 2010, Dalton
Steed was an early season winner at RPM
Speedway in Crandall, TX. After winning his
heat race, Steed finished the night off with

Friday, April 15th. Taking on the tough 358

Owings scored his first feature win aboard
his brand new XXX chassis. |

Association wandered all the way out into
Florida’s Everglades to pick up a race date
at Southern Raceway in Milton, FL. When the
dust settled from the past weekend, it was
Michael Herrington winning his second
feature of the year in his XXX Chassis.

Supply racing team scored a victory this
past weekend at Marysville Raceway Park in
California. Racing in the winged 360
division, Dozier led all 25 laps to pickup
his first main event win in only his third
night in his new XXX chassis. Congrats to

Shipley made some major waves in Arizona in only his
second night in a XXX 600. After finishing second in
his heat, Shipley parlayed his outside row one
starting spot into a wire-to-wire race win at USA
Raceway in Tuscon, AZ. The win also catapulted
Shipley into the points lead for the ASCS 2 Cactus
Region. |

Parker wasted no time reminding the Skagit Speedway
Sportsman division that he is a former champion
looking to reclaim his title. On a cold Saturday
night in Washington, Parker led all 20 laps of the
main event to take an early lead on the points chase
in his #23 XXX. |

April 22nd, 2011 - Bantam Wins at McCook Debut |

22nd. Driving a brand new XXX
chassis, Randy Bantam won the season opening
race at McCook Speedway in Nebraska. With
the track under new management, Bantam
brought out his 305 Sprint to help develop
open wheel racing at the track where his
father took over as promoter and led the
last couple of circuits en route to parking
his #5R XXX in victory lane for the first of
what promises to be many times. |

April 16th, 2011 - Team Estes Wins Again at
Cowtown as Colby Clean Sweeps |

16th. Not to be outdone by older
brother DJ, Colby Estes pulled off a clean
sweep of his own Saturday night at Cowtown Speedway in Kennedale. After winning his
heat race with DJ on his tail, Colby grabbed his
first career win in a 600 by besting the 16 car
field in the A Feature. With the victory, Team Estes
visited victory lane three times in their past three
races. |

DJ Estes has found the long hours spent in
the shop over the winter paying off, as the
Mansfield TX native visited victory lane for
the second straight week. On Friday night at
Heart O’ Texas Speedway in Waco, Estes won
his second feature of the year and second in
as many weeks, racing his XXX 600 to the win
over the 17 car field. |

Central PA Repeat Winner in 410 Sprints |

9th. Brian Montieth continues to find new ways to amaze.
The driver known as "the Edge" actually saw just
about every square inch of the Lincoln 3/8's mile in
coming from 15th starting spot to claim his second
win of the year in the 25-lap "410" sprint car
feature at Lincoln Speedway Saturday night.
"It seemed like it would ever end," said Montieth
upon exiting his Premier Auto Works/Auto Locator #21
in victory lane, "Starting back there in 15th...the
track was narrow...it’s hard to get up through
without being dirty. I really didn’t think I was
going to this, and I picked someone else to win this
tonight.".

Sydney Speedway in Australia. Racing the pink &

third to first in what was considered a superb drive

9th. Longtime Team XXX driver DJ Estes
finally found luck breaking his direction as
he broke into victory lane on Saturday
night. At his home track of Cowtown Speedway in
Kennedale TX, Estes broke through for his first A
Main victory of the year in the 600 A Class division
in his Smiley’s sponsored #74 XXX. DJ also won his
heat race. |

April 8th. Friday April 8th
marked the beginning of the 2011 championship season
at Placerville Speedway in California. On this
night, it was a former champion team with one of the
best young drivers in California dominating the
field for win #1 on the year. Shane Golobic ran away
with the feature win, leading wire-to-wire in the 25
lap contest to score the victory in the Bullet
Racing #35 XXX owned by John Taylor. Look for
Golobic and Bullet Racing in victory lane many more
times over the course of the season. |

route to the $3,000 payday. |

Marks loves cold weather! The young Myerstown racer
was glad Lincoln Speedway braved the elements
Saturday night as he drove away from the field to
capture his third career 25-lap 410 Sprint car
feature win. Marks, who started fourth in the
feature lineup, took control from Gerard McIntyre,
Jr. on the 10th lap, then cruised to the victory to
become the seventh different winner in as many 410
Sprint car features run thus far during the 2011
season in Central PA. “I’m sure glad Lincoln raced
tonight-I love cold weather,” stated Marks after
earning the $3,200 payday aboard the TJ’s Body Shop,

Michael Herrington had himself in the right place at
the right time as he picked up his first feature win
of 2011. After early race leaders encountered
mechanical misfortunes, Herrington found himself
running second with three laps left in the main.
With a full head of steam built up, Herrington blew
by the leader to take the win at A-1 Raceway in
Lacombe, LA in his XXX chassis. |

March 25th, 2011 - XXX Takes 3 of Top 5 at NZ

March 25th. The
Edge Parts & Performance guys have been on rails
down in New Zealand with another win at another huge
event. The NZ Grand Prix, one of New Zealand’s top
events for Sprint Cars, saw XXX chassis finish 1st,
3rd and 5th out of the loaded 24 car field. Former
Australian National Champ Dean Brindle brought home
top honors on this evening, inheriting the race lead
late in the race and coasting his way to victory.
Team XXX driver finished third after setting second
quick time. Winner the past two weekends, Jason
Scott ended up in 5th place after starting in 13th
position. Congrats! |

20th. Jimmy Brookens went step by step up the ladder of success
this past weekend, progressing one place in his
finish each night until ending up in victory lane on
Sunday night at Shippensburg Speedway. Brookens
opened the weekend with a 3rd place run at Path
Valley Speedway in PA, then gassed his way to a
runner up finish on Saturday night at Trail Way
Speedway. After coming close the first two night,
Brookens parlayed his front row starting spot to a
race win at his home track on Sunday night, leading
every lap of the race. Congratulations on the stout

March 12th and 19th, 2011 - Scott Wins South Island

Jason Scott has been on an absolute tear in New
Zealand over the past two weeks, taking home two big
race wins as the race season in the Southern
Hemisphere winds to a close. On Saturday March 12th,
Scott took his Edge Parts & Performance XXX chassis
to the club championship at Central Motor Speedway
in Cromwell. On the following Saturday, it was Scott
again prevailing over the field as he took home one
of the top honors in NZ Sprint Racing, winning the
South Island Title at Invercargill Raceway. After
starting on the pole, Scott led all 25 laps of
action on the tricky slick track. Look for Jason to
make his USA debut coming in May as he and the Edge
Parts & Performance team (New Zealand’s official XXX
dealer) will travel to the Pacific NW for more
Sprint Car action. |

March 12th, 2011 - Esh Returns To Victory

March 12th. Last
year wasn't exactly what Doug Esh would have called
one of his better seasons of his 410 Sprint car
career. Enter former car owners Dick and Leslie
Leach and his new XXX chassis nto the picture.
During the offseason, the Leach Motorsports team was
reformed with Esh as the driver and it didn't take
long for the team to find its way back to victory
lane. After leading the first two laps of
Saturday's 25-lap 410 Sprint car feature at Lincoln
Speedway, Esh settled into the second spot until
making a late race move on Brian Leppo and drove to
his 24th career feature win at the track. |

March 12th, 2011 - Jones Wins 3rd

Jones has shown his growing maturity as a sprintcar
driver with a calculated win in the 2011 SCCA
Australian 360 Sprintcar Championship at Murray
Bridge Speedway. Good heat results on night one of
the Championship put the former champion on the
front row of the grid for the Preliminary A Main.
Despite striking trouble during the race and going
back to the rear of the field, Jones kept his cool
and fought back to finish tenth. This turned out to
be a telling point in his quest for his third 360
Title as it kept him in touch with the points
leaders going in to night 2. Another two top three
placings in his heats on the second night gave Jones
the coveted pole position for the Championship
decider. He wasn’t going to throw the advantage away
and raced to victory. The win gave Ryan Jones an
unprecedented third SCCA Australian 360 Sprintcar
Championship. |

Stadium enjoyed perfect weather as three features
were decided on Saturday night with Camperdown’s
Jeff Judd powering to the Wingless Sprint feature
win. Brendan Balcombe won his first heat of the
night but Judd sounded a clear warning when he
romped from sixth to second, and followed that
performance up with a win in his second heat. Judd
then motored to victory in the 20 lap final for the
Wingless Sprints final. |

March 5th, 2011 - Montieth Wins Ice Breaker
at Lincoln. 3 XXX's in top 5. |

March 5th. Brian
Montieth, a three-time Lincoln Speedway track
champion, led every lap of the Lincoln
Speedway Icebreaker 30. Montieth, of Phoenixville,
earned $3,500 in a car owned by Hanover’s Jerry
Parrish. “We needed that starting position,”
Montieth said. “The car was excellent. That was one
of the best cars I’ve had for a day show on a slick
racetrack.”.
Saturday turned out to be a
great day for TeamXXX in PA. Montieth's
victory was followed up by a hard charging Adam Wilt
who finished the race challenging for 2nd, but ran
out of laps to finish 3rd. Doug Esh made his
debut in the Kinard Trucking #30 a good one, and
come home 5th. |

Following an absolutely terrible, horrible, no good
very bad run of luck, Ryan Jones finally conquered
the mechanical gremlins that have plagued his 2010 /
2011 campaign. Jones’ first win of the season came
this past Saturday night at Murray Bridge Speedway
where he won the 360 feature. |

going out to Sprint Car rookie Brendan
Quinn, who scored his first main event win
this past season at Speedway City in
Australia. Running in the 360 division,
Quinn was dominating in his performance on
February 12th, leading the feature by as
much as a half track during the 360 Sprint
feature. With only 8 races to his credit,
Quinn posted a win, a second and third place
finish during his first season in sprints.

6th. Tyler Anderson can add “Midget
Champion” to his growing list of accolades as the
young Washingtonian picked up the Salem Indoor
Series 2010 / 2011 championship over the weekend for Havlik Motorsports. Anderson
and Ryan Cully teamed up for 3 wins over the course
of the year for late car owner Mike Havlik en route
to the title. Congratulations from XXX on helping
Mike accomplish a lifelong goal of being a
championship winning car owner! |

Everett, WA native Tyler Anderson now has two career
midget victories after this past weekend. Driving
the Havlik Motorsports #66, Anderson won his second
main in as many months on Saturday night at Salem
Indoor raceway in Oregon. The Havlik Motorsports
Midget continues to lead the points standings in the
Midget Division during Salem’s Winter Series. |

2nd. Mat Muir brought home the big check
from Perth Motorplex’s annual 360 Muster, held on Sunday,
January Second. Muir was triumphant in a hard fought
battle over the other 14 360 competitors at the
event which saw races run in five different
divisions of Sprint Cars and a class of Formula
500s. |

January 1st, 2011 - XXX Midget Wins Driller In

January 1st. Mike
Ward started Saturday night’s feature event from the
second row inside, outside Tim Crawley who had
earned the pole position by winning both his heat
race and qualifier on Friday. And, for most of the
20-lap distance, a Crawley triumph seemed a
certainty. But, as Crawley worked the upper portion
of the track, Ward began to close in as the laps
clicked off. Ward poked his nose underneath Crawley
a time or two to challenge for the lead, with
Crawley countering by moving to the bottom of the
track. Keeping the pressure on, Ward took quick
advantage when Crawley slipped off the bottom
exiting turn four with the checkered flag in sight,
motoring into the lead and taking the win by a slim
0.056-margin.

January 1st, 2011 - XXX/DLX 1200 Wins Driller

January 1st. Derek
Holmwood made the long haul from Bellingham, WA,
worth it by racing to victory lane in the first
1200cc Non-Wing Mini Sprint feature event in Tulsa
Shootout history. While Holmwood started seventh, he
needed only a handful of laps to race into second
behind pole winner Kevin Roberts, Jr. Working the
topside of the track, Holmwood took command on the
seventh round only to have Lynn Ambrose charge from
third past both Roberts and Holmwood to take the
lead the next time around. With Ambrose working low,
Holmwood kept at it up top and reclaimed the lead on
the 14th lap en route to victory lane.
