23rd. Daniel Thomas is on a roll in
New Zealand as he turned in another
dominating performance in the Non-Wing six
shooter class. Racing at Kihikihi Speedway,
Thomas won his third feature of the year in
the Fast Times XXX house car, sweeping the
action on the night after winning both heat
races as well. |

Derek Sell pulls $10,010 upset in the season finale
at Susquehanna Speedway Park |

November
16th. After four years of racing, Derek
Sell shifted his focus to academics for
2013. As such, Rahmer took over the driving
duties of the Rod Sell 20s XXX, and closed
out his legendary career by winning the
prestigious Williams Grove National Open,
capping a season to remember. Now that
Rahmer is gone, the 20 year old Nittany Lion
is back. In only his second start since
reuniting with his father, Sell carved out
one of the more surprising outcomes of the
season by capturing the 30-lap Sprint Car
feature Saturday at Susquehanna Speedway
Park. It was Sell's first career win, and it
was worth a hefty $10,010 for leading the
entire distance. “I don't have words,” Sell
said. “This is so surreal. It's incredible
to be part of a team with Fred and Moon
[Byers], such a renowned crew chief." |

November 16th. The pairing of Daniel Thomas
and Fast Times Racing has paid immediate
dividends, with Thomas winning another
feature this past weekend. Running in the
non-wing six shooter division, Thomas won
the Auckland Championship this past weekend
in the Fast Times #69 XXX. Congratulations

Gardner Wins at “The Ditch” |

3rd. USCS Sprint Car competition returned
to “The Ditch”, Riverside International
Speedway in West Memphis, AR on Saturday and
Sunday with the running of the Flip Flop 50.
Saturday’s action set up Sunday’s lineup for
the feature, and when the dust settled, Cody
Gardner parlayed his second place finish on
Saturday night into a main event win on
Sunday with a last lap pass for the win in
his XXX Sprint Car. |

November 1st.
Daniel Thomas is a first time winner in the Darryl
and Wendy Claydon XXX Six Shooter in New Zealand.
Thomas, a young hotshoe coming from the mini sprint
ranks, won the opening round of the Fast Times
Racing Six Shooter Series at Kihikihi Speedway. He
also won a heat race and finished second in his
other heat. |

Jac’s Back in Winner’s Circle |

26th. The pairing of Jac Haudenschild in
the Jamie Miller #6 XXX Sprint Car has been
potent this year, even on a limited basis.
The Wooster, OH driver has been up front and
strong every night in the car, and on
Saturday night at Atomic Speedway in
Chillicothe, OH, Jac ended up in victory
lane for the second time this year in this
ride after leading all 25 laps of the
feature. |

Smith Sweeps Archerfield in New XXX |

26th. Matt Smith is back on top in the
Midget world in Australia, debuting a brand
new XXX Midget in victory lane at
Archerfield Speedway in Brisbane. Smith
grabbed the lead on lap and dominated the
field on his way to victory in a car that
was assembled only three days prior to the
win. Smith also made it a sweep of the
evening by setting quick time and winning
his heat race. |

Larsen Wins Big in Auckland |

October 26th. Jamie Larsen is making big
waves in New Zealand with another win in
winged sprint car competition this weekend.
After winning two weekends ago at Palmerston
North Speedway, Larsen (the former NZ Mini
Sprint Driver of the Year) picked up his
second win of the 2013-2014 campaign at
Western Springs Speedway in Auckland after
starting in the second row. |

Gardner Wins at I-30 |
|
October 23rd. Short Track Nationals week
has arrived at I-30 Speedway in Little Rock,
AR and Cody Gardner was the first driver to
take a feature win. Running the main event
postponed from September 28th, Gardner took
his XXX to victory in the 20 lap A Feature
that began the Wednesday race program.

Montieth Remains Red Hot in October |

October
18th. It’s been quite the late season surge
for Brian Montieth and the Premier Racing
#21 XXX. On Friday night, Montieth again
stood triumphant in victory lane, this time
at Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg,
PA, after capturing his fourth win over the
past six weeks. Montieth started in the
ninth position quickly ascended to the
front. Riding the rim, Montieth found
himself challenging for the lead and taking
the point for good with two laps remaining
on his way to the win. |

Willsher 2 for 2 in His XXX 600 |

6th and 19th. Dylan Willsher made the
switch to Triple X this offseason, and his
early results in his XXX 600 (or Formula 500
in Australia) have shown his choice to be a
good one. Willsher is 2 for 2 on race wins
in South Australia early this season, taking
the opening night win and the win at the
“Battle of the Bridge” this past Saturday
night at Murray Bridge Speedway in South

October 12th, 2013 - Bacon Wins Boss Finale at Eldora |

12th. Brady Bacon brought home a victory
this past Saturday night with a non-wing win
at Eldora Speedway. Running against the BOSS
series in their season finale, Bacon quickly
moved to the front of the pack from his
eighth place starting spot, using both the
high and low groves in his XXX to secure the
lead. From there, Bacon blasted around the
cushion to secure the victory and $1500
winners check. |

Kenny Weld Memorial to Montieth |

12th. On Saturday night, “The Edge” made a
bunch of very good racecar drivers and race
teams look very ordinary after a mind
blowing performance at Lincoln Speedway.
Brian Montieth lived up to his nickname by
running the top of Lincoln Speedway like a
man possessed, racing up from eighth to take
the lead in the Kenny Weld Memorial by lap
14 in the Premier Auto Works #21 XXX. From
there, Montieth was absolutely untouchable,
winning by a margin of over 9 seconds at the
end of the 40 lap feature. Congratulations
Brian, Jerry, Spuds and all the guys on the
impressive win. |

Thomas Dominates First Twister Nationals |

12th. 170 cars graced the pit area on
Saturday for the first running of the
Twister Nationals presented by The Oil
Medics at I44 Riverside Speedway in Oklahoma
City. When the dust settled at the end of
the 30 lap Midget feature, OKC native Tyler
Thomas stood triumphant with a win where he
was never seriously challenged. Thomas
started outside row two and quickly ascended
to the lead in the BT machine #91t XXX. The
young hotshoe was long gone by the time the
checkered flag waved on his $2,000 win at
the conclusion of the thirtieth lap. |

Clean Sweep And New Track Record for Feeney |

12th. Saturday night was quite memorable
for Rob Feeney who made it three wins in a
row at “The Bullring”. Running his DLX 1200
at Marion County Speedway in Ocala, FL,
Feeney set a new track record and followed
it up with a heat win and main event win,
both coming after starting dead last on the

in three weeks and fourth time this year in
his XXX. |

October 5th, 2013 -Rahmer Conquers His First Williams Grove National
Open in Final Attempt of His Career |

5th. Fred Rahmer sure knows how to throw a
retirement party. Rahmer, the leader of the
Pennsylvania Posse was competing on Saturday
in what is widely expected to be his final
National Open at Williams Grove Speedway,
won the historic event for the first time in
his hall-of-fame career. Racing the Truline
Contractors Sell Racing XXX, Rahmer traded
the lead multiple time with Steve Buckwalter
for the first 14 circuits, then never looked
back. Rahmer made the final pass for the
lead, and led the final 26 laps to cap his
storied career. "Its absolutely incredible,
said Rahmer, of Salfordville, Pa. I dont
know what to say. It sure felt good going
across the scales and all the Outlaw guys
coming up and congratulating me, that meant
more than the 50 grand. One of my goals this
year was to win an Outlaw race, and its a
high goal to set. Everyone had me dead and
buried and washed up. This proves them
wrong.". A huge congrats to Fred, Rob, Moon
and the entire Sell Racing team. |

Becker Wins “Gold Fever” at Marysville |

5th. “The Shark” Sean Becker has been on a
tear over the past month and on Saturday
night, the wins kept coming with a victory
at Marysville Raceway Park in their season
ending “Gold Fever” event. Sean started
seventh and worked his way forward in the
Dan Monhoff #35 XXX before finding the high
groove in the last corner of the last lap to
take the lead and the victory. |

28th. Momentum continues to build for Brian
Montieth during the late stages of the PA
season, as the Phoenixville, PA driver took
his 7th win of the season on Saturday night.
Montieth and Team XXX driver Adam Wilt
battled through traffic in the late stages
of main event on Saturday night at Lincoln
Speedway, with Montieth ending up victorious
in the Premier Auto Works #21 XXX. |

Varin’s Hot Streak Continues |

28th. September has been a big month for
Danny Varin in the Dan Cuomo #07p XXX sprint
car. For the first time ever, the CRSA
series ran a 40 lap A Feature at I88
Speedway in Afton, NY and when the dust
settled, it was Varin winning for the third
straight time in the month of September and
fourth night total on the year. |

Non-Wing Win for Jeffries |

September 28th. One of our favorite sayings
at XXX is “Winning never gets old” and Kirk
Jeffries proved our saying this past
Saturday night. At 50 years young, Jeffries
grabbed his first victory of the season
non-wing style with a BOSS win at Pittsburg
Motor Speedway in McDonald, PA in his #59
XXX. |

Last Lap Pass Delivers Win for Feeney |

September 28th. For the second time in
three weeks, Rob Feeney brought his DLX 1200
to a win at “The Bullring”. With their
traditional midsummer break firmly in the
rearview mirror, the 1200 class at Marion
County Speedway in Ocala, FL kicked back up
with Feeney taking a win on Saturday the
14th. He continued his winning ways on
Saturday the 28th with a pass on the white
flag lap to take the win. |

Trimble Squeeks Out a Win |

21st. With chaos ensuing in front of him,
Adam Trimble picked the correct race line
and squeeked through a pack of spinning cars
to pick up the lead, the win, and the point
lead in the URSS Colorado region on Saturday
night. Narrowly missing the spinning cars by
what he described as “maybe a thousandth of
an inch”, Trimble avoided a lap one
catastrophe to grab the lead and eventual
win at I-76 Speedway in Fort Morgan, CO in
his XXX. The win also gave him a narrow
point lead in the regional point standings
with two nights remaining. |

Abenroth Grabs 1st 600 Win |

20th. With his 2013 race season winding
down, Isaac Abenroth knew that his time to
grab his first 600 win at Deming Speedway
was running short. On Friday night, Abenroth
saw his dream come true, as the youngster
took the lead going into turn one amidst
heavy traffic on the bottom of the track,
then rolled on to take his very first win in
the 600 Restricted division in his XXX.
Congratulations to Isaac, Papa John, Phil,
Jada, Craig and all the boys on finally
seeing your hard work and dedication pay
off. |

Becker Grabs Hardware on Petaluma’s Civil War Night |

14th. A beautiful sun-splashed afternoon
and evening attracted a tremendous crowd for
Petaluma Speedway’s third California State
Civil War Series Event of the season. The
30-lap feature saw Pleasanton high-schooler
Nathan Washam on the pole next to Jamie
Duff, but by lap 8 Sean Becker nestled into
the race lead. From there on it was Becker
masterfully hitting his marks in the
familiar Dan Monhoff #35 to eventual
victory. |

of the border, Sean MacDonnell made full use

Second Straight Winning Weekend for Varin |

14th. For the third time this year and
second weekend in a row, Danny Varin parked
the Dan Cuomo owned #07 XXX in victory lane
with the CRSA. Varin’s victory came at Fonda
Speedway in New York, where he won earlier
this season. The win for Danny also gave him
a short series title, as he was the victor
in all three races on the Kennedy
Northway-90 Challenge, an interseries point
challenge comprised of only events in the
Capital District area. |

JJ Hickle Wins # 2 At Grays Harbor |

14th. Defending 360 Sprint track champion
J.J. Hickle, of Quilcene, was the car to
beat during the Sprint Car main event. The
race would go pretty much incident free and
Hickle would simply run away with it and go
on to pick up the win. The victory would
mark the second time he has visited the
winner’s circle this year in his
MeyerElectric/Kitsap Powdercoating/Don Ott
Racing Engines #3 XXX. |

Kelsey Carpenter Tops Skagit Season
Championship Night With A Win |

14th. On a foggy and cool NW race night,
Kelsey Carpenter ended the year in a familar
place, victory lane. But, it was not without
hickups. Kelsey blew his motor in hotlaps,
and ended up buying another car from a
fellow racer in order to finish out the
night. A good investment, as he not only
picked up the win, but also won his third
track title with the main event win.

Steve Parker Picks Up Win and 2nd Points

14th. Steve Parker has routinely been on
top of the podium at Skagit Speedway the
last few years. And tonight was no
different. In the familiar white #23 XXX
chassis with (literally) 100's of races on
it, Steve wired the field in a flag to flag
feature win. The win also cleanched his 3rd
Sportsman championship as a driver, and 4th
as an owner/driver. Congrats to Steve and
crew on an outstanding season. |

September 6th, 2013 - Johnson Dominates Ohsweken |

6th. Night one in a brand new XXX worked
out fantastically for Wayne Johnson. After
winning his heat race from fourth, Johnson
raced forward from 8th place in the feature
to grab the lead and the win at Ohsweken
Speedway in Ontario. In the process of
grabbing the win, Johnson set an all time
track record for time elapsed in a 25 lap
feature. Congratulations Wayne, Connor and
Daryl on the victory! |

Bell Wins at Fremont |

7th. Rick Ferkel gave Christopher Bell his
first ever ride in a sprint car. This past
Saturday night, Bell repayed Ferkel by
taking the famous #0 to a 30 lap, wire to
wire win in their brand new XXX chassis.
Bell started outside pole and lead every lap
around Fremont Speedway in Fremont, OH on
his way to the win. |

Saturday Night Win Secures Championship for Sodeman |

7th. Jack Sodeman is the 2013 Mercer
Raceway Park Champion following a win on
Saturday night in his XXX. Starting from the
front row, Sodeman engaged on a spectacular
battle for the lead with Eric Williams, who
was the point leader entering the evening.
The race came down to the final few circuits
and when the dust settled, Sodeman had
better bite from the high groove and used it
to take the win and the point championship. |

Thiel Almost Sets Record in Plymouth Win |

7th. You know you have a good car when
you’re knocking on the door of track
records. Such was the case for Scotty Thiel
on Saturday night at Plymouth Dirt Track,
where the Sheboygan, WI driver led every lap
of the main event in his XXX and was
threatening to set a new track record for a
main event until a caution flag flew in the
late race. |

Mattox Wins #7 |

September 7th. The best year of the sprint
car career of Fred Mattox continued on
Saturday night with his seventh win of the
season at Creek County Speedway on Saturday
night. Mattox took his XXX from the seventh
starting position and picked up the lead in
traffic to grab the victory. |

6th. In 2012, Cody Baker won a good amount
of races, bouncing between winged and
non-wing racing. With the winged 360
divisions in his home state of Missouri
running with less frequency, Baker has upped
his game on the non-wing side of things,
grabbing another feature win this past
Friday night in his XXX chassis. The win
came at Valley Speedway in Grain Valley, MO
over a 21 car field. |

his XXX to the win in both his heat race and
the feature. |

Rutz Sweeps GHR |
|
September 2nd. A fantastic four nights of
racing for Kenny Rutz ended with the
Langley, BC driver and his XXX Sprint Car in
victory lane for the second straight night
at Grays Harbor Raceway in Elma, WA. Rutz
had a spirited battle early on Monday night
with Cale Brooke before asserting his hold
over the lead spot and running away from the
field. With around five laps to go,
mechanical gremlins showed up in the engine,
but thankfully Rutz had built up enough of a
lead to ease off the hammer and coast to the
eventual win. |

September 31st. Fred Mattox has won a lot of races in
the Kansas/Oklahoma area, but for the first
time on Saturday night, Mattox brought home
a win with the OCRS series. Racing at Caney
Valley Speedway in KS, Mattox led every lap
of the main event to score a popular win in
his XXX, as he’s been denied numerous OCRS
wins in the past due to circumstances beyond

September 2nd. Ever the bridesmaid, never
the bride has been the story of Jerry
Richert Jr’s 2013. With more than a handful
of top five runs this year, Jerry finally
ended his draught by scoring a Labor Day win
with the UMSS series at Granite City
Speedway in Sauk Rapids, MN in his XXX
Sprint Car. |

Odd Night Leads to Montieth Winning Billy Kimmel

1st. Human error still occurs in racing,
and nowhere was that more evident than
Sunday night at Williams Grove Speedway.
Brian Montieth had held the lead since lap
10 in the Premier Auto Works #21 XXX and was
poised to score the victory at the
prestigious Billy Kimmel memorial when the
flagman accidently showed the yellow flag
instead of the white. With the race well in
hand, Montieth watched the yellow drop and
lifted, allowing Ryan Taylor to pass him.
Brian got back on the gas and rolled across
second. Post race, Williams Grove Officials
deemed they had made a mistake and awarded
winning money and winner’s checks to
Montieth and Taylor. |

September 1st. Following up two top five
finishes at Skagit Speedway, Kenny Rutz

September 1st. For four years running, Kyle
Miller has proved himself king of the
non-wing in the Pacific NW. That title was
punctuated on Sunday night, as Miller won
his fourth straight Non-Wing Nationals title
at Cottage Grove Speedway from the 3rd
starting spot. Miller now has 10 NWWT wins
on the year in his XXX chassis. That
particular chassis has over 20 |

Barnes led the first 23 laps in his XXX
before a caution tightened the field up. On
the restart, McCabe made a kamikaze move to
the inside of turn one to pull even with
Barnes, then took the point as the white
flag fell. Barnes tried a similar move back
at McCabe going back into one when contact
occurred, resulting in Barnes spinning out.
The subsequent restart had McCabe bring the
field to green, where he would go on to win
followed by Kenny Rutz and Steve Parker, all
in XXX chassis. |

August 31st. Mike Boston took the victory
on night one of the 1/3 Mile IMCA Sprint
Super Nationals at Eagle Raceway on Saturday
night. After running second early, Boston
grabbed the lead on lap seven and ran away
with the victory in his #51 XXX Sprint Car. |

31st. It wasn’t all easy for Kyle Miller on
night one of the Non Wing Nationals at
Cottage Grove Speedway. Despite setting
quick time and winning his heat and the
dash, it took Miller all the way up till lap
21 to grab another NWWT win in his #10 XXX. |

Rahmer Wins Jack Gunn Memorial |

30th. For the 6th time in 2013, Fred Rahmer
picked up a Central PA win, this one coming
at Williams Grove Speedway. On Friday night,
Rahmer grabbed the lead from Donnie Kreitz
on lap three and drove a masterful race from
there, moving from top to bottom late to cap
off the victory in the Rob Sell #20s XXX.
The win began a memorable weekend for Rahmer
and the #20s team, as merely starting the
main event on Saturday at Lincoln Speedway
secured the team a track championship. |

August 30th, 2013 - Non-Wing Comeback Win for Baker |

30th. Last lap wins are the most memorable,
and Cody Baker pulled off a memorable win on
Friday night. Baker set out to an early lead
in non-wing action at Valley Speedway in
Grain Valley, MO only to shuffle back to
second. T looked for a while like second
would be the final spot, but on the last
lap, Baker got is elbows up in a big way and
stormed back into the lead to take the
victory in his #38 XXX. |

Sodeman Continues Winning Ways |

30th. The switch to Triple X has been a
monster success for Jack Sodeman Jr. At the
season championship race at Lernerville
Speedway, Sodeman once again parked his XXX
in victory lane after grabbing the lead on

McCabe Leads XXX 1-2-3 at Skagit |

29th. Night one of the Sportsman Showdown at
Skagit Speedway was dominated by XXX
Chassis. Every lap of the feature was led by
a XXX car, with Devin Barnes leading the
first 13 circuits before Steve Parker took
over the point. Parker looked to have a win
in hand before colliding with a lapped car,
handing the lead and the win to Zach McCabe.
McCabe led an all XXX podium with Barnes
running second and Kenny Rutz taking third. |

Fast Freddie Wins #5 |

August
24th. Despite proclaiming that he’s a
“watered down version of the driver I once
was”, Fred Rahmer keeps putting up
impressive results in Central PA. This past
Saturday night, Rahmer won his fifth feature
of the year in the Rob Sell owned #20s XXX
and in the process, put the Lincoln Speedway
point title in virtual headlock with one
race remaining on their schedule. Rahmer
started seventh and in classic style,
marched to the front, moving into third by
lap 12. With the front two cars in traffic,
Rahmer jumped at an opportunity to take the
lead, rolling under the front two cars to
take the lead on lap 16 and raced away to
victory from there. |

Trimble Wins from 11th |

24th. Adam Trimble was a winner again in his
Triple X this past weekend, winning one of
two double features on Saturday night. In
the first feature, Trimble started 11th and
made his way to the front to take the win.
In feature two, Trible almost replicated his
earlier run, running from 10th to a second
place finish. |

Goff Wins WAR Feature |

24th. A strange night at the track ended up
paying off for Chad Goff on Saturday night.
Running non-wing with the WAR series at
Lebanon Midway Speedway in Missouri. Goff
was involved in a lap one accident that tore
up the right rear of his race car. With a
bent watts link and right rear radius rod,
Goff laced up his boots and went to work,
climbing steadily from the back of the pack
until he made a pass for the lead and
eventual win with eight laps remaining in
his XXX Sprint Car. Awesome work, Chad and
Ivan! |

Parker Wins at Skagit – Eyes Title |

24th. With a win on Saturday night at Skagit
Speedway, Steve Parker put himself in prime
position to score another championship in
the Sportsman Sprint division in his XXX
chassis. Parker started third and was in
second by the end of the first lap. Using
the bottom of the racetrack, Parker moved
into the lead shortly thereafter and was not
challenged afterward as he rolled to the
win, By virtue of the win, Parker virtually
has the season title wrapped up, only
needing to start the championship night A
Main to secure his 4th title. |

Smith Wins Opening Leg of Freedom Tour |

22nd. The USAC Southwest Sprint Cars
ventured into Oklahoma for the first time on
Wednesday night, and when the dust settled,
native Oklahoman and Team XXX member Danny
Smith walked away with the feature win,
non-wing style. Smith grabbed the lead at
the halfway point and raced to the victory
in the 30 lap feature in his #5 XXX. |

The Jersey Jet wins The Jersey Rush |

20th. For the second time in three years,
The Jersey Jet, JJ Grasso, won the Jersey
Rush 410 Sprint Car race at New Egypt
Speedway in a XXX chassis. Grasso led every
lap of the feature in dominating fashion,
winning by a margin of half a lap in the
Eldreth Motorsports #25 XXX. |

Sodeman Overcomes Adversity to Win Lou Blaney
Memorial |

20th. Jack Sodeman overcame two major
obstacles to win the biggest race of his
career, the $5,000 to win 5th annual Lou
Blaney Memorial, on Tuesday night at Sharon
Speedway in Ohio. Sodeman had his engine lay
down on him with five laps remaining in the
A Main, but had managed to build up enough
of a lead that he could hold on for the win
in the Rudzik Excavating #94 XXX. What makes
it all more impressive is that Sodeman won
the race while still healing form a broken
back suffered 3 weeks ago. |

17th. Adam Wilt stood tall amongst the PA
Posse on Saturday night, bringing home his
first victory of the year at Lincoln
Speedway. Wilt moved from sixth into the
lead at the halfway point and created a huge
advantage in his #15 XXX, leading by almost
5 seconds when a caution flew on the white
flag lap. With four lapped cars in between
him and second place, Wilt easily brought
home the win after the restart, streaking
away to a two and a half second advantage

leader Colton Heath in striking distance

and over the course of the event, Kruchka
used both high and low grooves to work
steadily up the field and into the lead on
lap 16 in his XXX Sprint Car. |

Big Win for Montieth in PA |

10th. Brian Montieth returned to his winning
ways at Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, PA
this past weekend with a victory in the 33
lap Brandon Little Memorial. Montieth set
out from a ninth place starting spot and was
up to fifth early as the field entered
lapped traffic. From there, Brian worked
past three other XXX chassis to set himself
second when a lap 20 caution flew.
Restarting on the back of fellow Team XXX
car Tim Glatfelter, Montieth pulled a slider
coming out of turn 4 to lead lap 21 and
continued on to win his 5th race of the
season in the Premier Auto Works #21 XXX.

Turnbull Captivates Castrol Crowd |

10th. Following a 2012 campaign that saw
him win a championship at Skagit Speedway,
Trevor Turnbull finally turned around his
luck with a win at the biggest Sportsman
Sprint event in Canada in 2013. Running
Xtreme Cup at Castrol Raceway in Edmonton,
Turnbull, who has been on a limited
schedule, turned in an incredible
performance by securing the win in his #38
XXX chassis in the Saturday night finale. |

Speedway over the past month +, with wins piling up
quickly for the LAW Motorsports #33 XXX. This past
Saturday night was no exception, as Heath ran to the
lead on lap nine, then lapped half the field on his
way to his third straight victory in weekly 360
competition at the Alger, WA track. In victory
lane, Colton thanked "Mark" for "letting him win at
golf last week which gave him the courage and
confidence to race hard and win.". Mark
graciously said he was happy to do it, since "it's
all mental.". |

Winsley has been the man to beat when the NWWT rolls

night proved no different. “Wild” Bill took

Sunset which also gave him the points lead in the
series in his XXX Sprint Car. Rob Lindsey finished
second in his XXX and is currently second in points. |

Peterson Wins Fair Weekend Race at GHR |

Peterson won for the second time in 2013 at Grays
Harbor Raceway in Elma, WA in the Gaylon and Carla
Stewart owned #3s XXX Midget. With an early
afternoon race scheduled around the local fair,
Peterson jumped to an early lead under the very
sunny and hot conditions and was only challenged
briefly toward the tail end of the feature on his
way to the win. |

Boston Blisters Eagle |

August 8th. A hot night of racing at Eagle
Raceway in Nebraska ended up with multiple
time track champion Mike Boston in victory
lane at the 50 year old track. Running in
their racesaver 305 division, Boston quickly

his XXX Sprint Car to grab the victory over
the 23 car field. |

Panton Secures Another UK Title |

3rd. Duncan Panton has been on a roll in the
United Kingdom in 2013, adding the UK Sprint
Car Dirt Series Championship to his resume
on Saturday. Through a series of qualifying
heats, Panton drew the pole for the finale
at Coventry Dirt – Brandon Stadium. From
there, Panton led every lap of the feature
to take the win, his third major victory of
the 2013 campaign. Panton, in addition to
the Dirt Series Championship, is also the
2013 Long Track Title holder and the 2013
English Champion. |

26th and 27th. Kyle Miller rolled to an
impressive six wins over the month of July
with the NWWT, the final two coming over
this past weekend. Racing Friday and
Saturday night at Willamette Speedway in
Lebanon, OR, Miller picked up Friday’s win
with the traveling non-wing group by making
a daring lap nine pass to take the lead and
eventual win. On Saturday, Miller was
dominant again, setting quick time and
winning his heat race before coming from
sixth to win the A Main. Miller led a pack
of XXX cars to the stripe on Saturday, as
the top six finishers on Saturday ran XXX
chassis. |

Three Wins for Mumaw at Wayne County |

26th. Danny Mumaw put his third win of 2013
together on Friday night, grabbing the
victory at Wayne County Speedway in Ohio.
Mumaw battled for the second spot over most

on the track for his XXX to hook up to,
sprint forward with a slidejob to take the
lead on lap 18. |

20th. Back in his own #33 XXX machine, Danny
Lasoski won for the 99th time in his career
at Knoxville Raceway. Taking advantage of an

lap 1, and put together another 19 straight
up on the cushion on his way to the win ...
at one point with almost an unheard of 5

20th. Fred Mattox picked up another win this
weekend in his XXX. Racing at Creek County
Speedway in Sapulpa, OK, Mattox set out to
an early lead from the outside pole which he

19th and 20th. The race winning machine
known as Kyle Miller was up to his old
tricks this weekend at Cottage Grove
Speedway, winning main events on Friday and
Saturday night with the Northwest Wingless
Tour. Miller came from deep in the field on
Friday, racing from 16th to the lead to grab
the win. Saturday was an easier go of
things, taking the lead over early on his
way to his 4th straight victory over the
tour and his 21st total victory on the XXX

Parsons Takes SCVR Win |

18th. Johnny Parsons III found the low
groove to his liking on a Thursday contest
with the TSCS sprint cars at St Croix Valley
Raceway in Wisoconsin. Parsons III got low
early in the race, moving to the point and
leading every lap off the bottom of the
racetrack in his non-wing #12 XXX. Brian Van
Meveren ran second all race in his XXX. |

Sodeman Wins Again |

13th. Jack Sodeman parked the Rudzik #94 XXX
in victory lane again this past weekend,
this time at Mercer Raceway Park in
Pennsylvania. Jack rapidly advanced through
the field, taking the point in heavy traffic
just after the halfway point in the race.
While still marred in heavy traffic, Sodeman
slipped to second briefly but managed to
avoid the slower cars spinning out in front
of him that collected up the first and third
place cars. After re-inheriting the lead,
Jack would streak away for his third win in
the past month. |

Goff Overcomes Mechanical Gremlins for Win |

13th. For weeks, Chad Goff has been
virtually (and sometimes, literally) banging
his head against the wall looking for
answers. With previous non wing wins under
his belt in his XXX chassis, Chad and his
crew couldn’t figure out what had been
keeping them out of victory lane in 2013.
Over the course of the week, the team
swapped out almost every suspension
component from the rear engine plate
backwards, eventually discovering that they
had a bent rear end assembly. With a new
rear end in the car, Saturday night brought
the team back to the results they are used
to with a winning run at Lebanon Midway
Speedway in their non-wing Sprint division. |

Rebuilt Car Pays Off for Parker |

13th. Steve Parker found himself the top dog
once again at Skagit Speedway after a long
week’s work in the shop to get his XXX
ready. Steve was leading the previous weeks
feature when he tangled with a slower car,
knocking out both the front end and rear end
on his XXX and ending his night. With his
crew by his side, Parker rebuilt the car and
came from deep in the field to take the lead
on lap 14 on his way to another victory. |

July 12th and 13th, 2013 -
Miller Sweeps NWWT Weekend at GHR |
|
July
12th and 13th. It was another weekend filled
with winning for Kyle Miller vs the NWWT.
With a two day show on tap at Grays Harbor
Raceway in Elma, WA, Miller brought home
both main event victories in his XXX
chassis. On Friday, Miller won his heat the
raced forward from the back of the field to
grab the lead off the high groove at the mid
race mark en route to win #1. On Saturday,
Miller set quick time and pulled a 0 invert,
setting him on the pole for the evenings
feature. Miller would lead all 30 laps of
the A Main, lapping half the field on his
way to win #2 for the weekend and his 19th
win on the XXX chassis he uses. |

Pellersells Rides Rim to 40 Lap Win |
|

12th. For the first time, the TSCS ran a 40
lap feature at St Croix Valley Raceway and
in the end, it was Jeff Pellersells leading
every lap of the main in his XXX for the
victory on Friday the 12th. Pellersells had
his right rear on the cushion for all 40
laps, turning away multiple challenges over
the long event to take the victory, his
third with TSCS and first at SCVR. |

Buckwalter Wins Round 2 of PA Speedweek |

7th. Tim Buckwalter only races micro sprints
occasionally, but when he does, he’s really
good at it. Tim once again proved his talent
by taking the second leg of Pennsyvania’s
600 Speedweek on Sunday night, leading every
lap of the main event in the Gary & Donna
Spotts #25 XXX that he won in twice in
Florida. Buckwalter was dominant from the
get go, securing the lead early and weaving
his way in and out of traffic with little
challenge en route to the victory. |

Mongana Wins at Delta |

July 6th. Dan Mongana has been so close to
that elusive first win of the year, and he
picked that win up on Saturday the 6th of
July. With three seconds and a third on his
resume’ entering the night, Mongana picked
up the victory and in the process, the point
lead at Delta Speedway in Stockton, CA in
the Kenny Piraro racing #75 XXX 600 Micro
Sprint. |

Reutzel Wins #5 |

5th. Aaron Reutzel won his fifth race of
the year on Friday night and in the process,
closed in on the points lead in the ASCS
Gulf South region. After winning the heat
race, Reutzel drove from 7th up to the lead
with five laps to go to score the win in his
XXX. In the process, Reutzel narrowed the
gap between himself and points leader Ray

Sodeman Adds Non-Wing Win to 2013 Tally |

5th. Jack Sodeman has taken a liking to his
new Triple X chassis, as this weekend
brought a non-wing win at Lernerville
Speedway. Sodeman won his heat race, then
took over the lead on lap 6 of the main to
score his second victory since switching to
XXX only a few short weeks ago. |

July 6th, 2013 -
Two in a Row for Heath at Skagit |
|
July
6th. A deep starting spot was a small
obstacle to overcome again for Colton Heath
and the LAW Motorsports #33 XXX on Saturday
night en route to his second straight win at
Skagit Speedway. With a midseason format on
tap, Heath used the scramble event to
improve his A Main starting spot from 7th to
4th. From the drop of the green flag, Heath
was on a tear up around the high groove,
rolling up to battle with the leader by the
mid point of the race and after a back and
forth battle with fellow XXX driver Derek
Roberts, secured the lead for good on lap 19
in the 360 division. Congratulations Colton,
JBox, Hodee, Alan, Kelly, Destanie and Rosie
on the win! |

Another Win for Shilling |

6th. Chalk up another win for Randy
Shilling in the Micro Sprint ranks of
Indiana. For the third time this year,
Shilling visited victory lane at Plymouth
Speedway, this time driving from 9th up to
the lead in his XXX 600 Micro Sprint. |

5 on the Year and 2 Straight for McCabe at Skagit |

6th. Momentum is on the side of Zach McCabe
at Skagit Speedway. The Arlington, WA native
unofficially took over the Sportsman Sprint
points lead with a win on Saturday night,
his 2nd in a row and 5th on the year in his
#46 XXX. McCabe battled by Cory Swatzina to
grab second place right as race leader Steve
Parker tangled with slower traffic, giving
McCabe the lead and eventual win. |

Donnelly Wins Big at Canaan |

3rd. On the night before the 4th, Chris
Donnelly pulled off three victories in a
single night of racing. After successfully
winning two modified features earlier in the
night, Donnelly completed the hat trick by
driving up through deep in the field in his
XXX Sprint Car to grab his second win of the
year in SCONE action at Canaan Dirt Speedway
in New Hampshire. |

Thiel is $5k Richer After Open Wheel Nationals Win |
|
June
29th. Scotty Thiel scored the biggest win of
his young career after taking home the top
prize with the UMSS at the Open Wheel
Nationals event at St Croix Valley Raceway
in Wisconsin on Saturday night. Starting
8th, Thiel put himself in a position to
succeed, having worked his way to 6th on the
track before a yellow for the leader with 10
laps left. Restarting 5th on the field,
Thiel saw his opportunity on the restart
when the new leader’s engine stumbled,
bunching up the first four cars behind him.
With the lower groove opening as wide as the
Grand Canyon, Thiel expertly maneuvered his
XXX to the bottom of the ¼ oval and by the
exit of turn two, had the lead. 10 laps
later, and Scotty scored the biggest win of
his young career. |

Heath Scores Impressive Skagit Win |

29th. An 8 invert at Skagit Speedway usually
spells doom for the night’s quick qualifier,
but Colton Heath and the LAW Motorsports #33
XXX proved that wrong on Saturday night.
After setting quick time in the 360
division, Heath rolled an 8 for the nightly
invert, sitting him outside row four for the
feature after transferring through his heat.
A huge initial start put Colton into third,
as he quickly found the high groove to his
liking. After dispatching of second place
Steve Kilcup, Colton ran down fellow XXX
driver Kenny Rutz and slid underneath him in
corner three to take the lead for good on
lap 14. Congratulations to Colton and his
car owners Alan and Kelly, and crew on their
first victory of the year! |

McCabe’s 4th Makes a Skagit Sweep |

29th. Zach McCabe’s 4th victory of the year
completed a Skagit Speedway sweep of the
Sprint Car divisions on Saturday night.
McCabe came from 5th and steadily worked his
way forward, finding the bottom of turn two
to be a great place for passing. On lap 12,
McCabe moved his XXX underneath Paul
Burdick’s XXX to take the lead for good en
route to the win in the Sportsman Sprint
class. |

Holmwood Sweeps Cottage Grove |

29th. Derek Holmwood is back in victory
lane, and this time it was his own XXX
Midget that he parked there. Derek made the
14 hour round trip drive to Cottage Grove
Speedway from his Bellingham, WA home well
worth it by starting at the back of both his
heat race and main event and passing every
other competitor to score his first victory
of 2013. |

June 28th, 2013 - Smith Wins Non-Wing |

June
28th. Danny Smith used veteran guile and
savvy to pick up the OCRS non-wing series
win on Friday evening at Brill Motor
Speedway in Meeker, OK. Starting tenth,
Smith patiently waited out the front cars in
the field, as crash after crash moved his
XXX to second place quickly. With the leader
in sight, Smith would pick up the lead on
lap seven down the back straightaway, then
turned back all challengers to pick up the
victory. |

Champion Bill Winsley has his first victory
of the season. Running at Sunset Speedway in
Banks, OR on Sunday, Winsley took the lead
on lap seven and built a huge lead before
grabbing his first win of the year in his
XXX. |

It’s All Bacon at I-96 |

22nd. Brady Bacon built himself some solid
momentum heading into a stretch of racing
that will see him compete in two different
speedweeks by securing a USAC National
Sprint Car Series win on Saturday night at
I-96 Speedway in Lake Odessa, MI. After a
second place run in qualifying, Bacon took
the lead from Bryan Clauson just after the
midway point of the race to score the win
for the Hoffman Auto Racing, Mean Green #69
XXX. Brady will now take his own operation
on the road, running winged 410 events over
the next few weeks on Ohio and Pennsylvania
Speedweek. |

Smith Leads All XXX Top 3 with OCRS |

22nd. Danny Smith picked up another win in
Oklahoma this weekend, topping the OCRS
series at Outlaw Motorsports Park. Smith
trailed till the final circuit where he
moved into the lead in his XXX coming into
turn two, then turned back underneath a
slidejob thrown at him by fellow XXX driver
Terry Easum to retake the lead coming from
turn four to secure the win by a car length.
David Stephenson took the second Smith
Motorsports XXX to a third place finish,
giving XXX the top three spots in OCRS
competition this week. |

Marks Gets it Done at The Grove |

21st. For the 5th time in 2013, Brent Marks
stood in victory lane in Central PA with his
XXX chassis. On this particular Friday
night, it was in thrilling fashion as the
Myerstown Missile took the lead in the last
corner of the last lap at Williams Grove
Speedway to secure the win. After chasing
down Stevie Smith, Marks got a nose under
him entering turn three of the final lap and
completed a slide job out of turn four to
secure the victory. |

21st. The switch to Triple X paid instant
dividends for Jack Sodeman. After swapping
the lead multiple times early, Sodeman took
the point for good on lap three, then
dominated the field on the way to victory
lane at Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, PA.
It was the first night for Jack in his XXX
chassis, and he was absolutely on fire as he
streaked away from the field in the green to
checkered affair. |

16th. Brock Lemley has momentum heading into
this weekend’s Jim Raper Memorial Dirt Cup
at Skagit Speedway. For the fourth time on
the year, the Bellingham, WA driver parked
the Vaillant Racing #88 XXX in victory lane,
grabbing the lead on lap 17 after running
down race leader Travis Jacobson from deep
in the field in the 360 division. |

Parker’s Long Week Pays Dividends |

June
16th. Following an engine issue the
previous Saturday night, Steve Parker knew
he’d have some last minute scrambling to do.
What he didn’t know was that the scrambling
would take him all the way till 2am on
Saturday morning before having his engine
installed for competition at Skagit Speedway
later that night. With the engine troubles
behind him, Parker got ready to haul to the
track before finding a rear end malfunction
that threatened his race night. Thrashing
with his crew, Parker got the car together,
unloading just in time to make his time
trial lap, where he rolled second quick.
Thanks to a zero invert for the feature,
things finally got easy for Steve, as he
parlayed a front row starting spot to a 20
lap wire to wire win in his #23 XXX in the
Sportsman Sprint division. |

8th. For a “no drivin’, washed up
sumb****”, Fred Rahmer sure can wheel a
sprint car. The Hall of Fame driver, who has
put together a remarkable string of 26 top
ten finishes in his 26 Central PA races this
year, won his 4th feature of the season on
Saturday night at Lincoln Speedway in
Abbottstown, PA. Rahmer methodically worked
the Rob Sell #20s XXX to the front of the
field from his 7th place starting spot,
taking the eventual victory and extending
his lead at both Lincoln and in the Central
PA point series in the process.

First Sprint Car Win for Newlin |

1st. Our congratulations go out to Zach
Newlin who took his first career Sprint Car
victory on Saturday night at Path Valley
Speedway in Spring Run, PA. Running with the
PASS series, Newlin, with his family and
newborn son in the crowd for the first time,
showed excellent patience as he trailed the
leader for the first 16 circuits before
seeing a lane open up on the inside of the
back stretch in lapped traffic. Newlin
blasted his XXX into the lead, which he’d
hold on to for the first win. |

Peterson Sweeps GHR |

1st. The NW USAC Ignite Midgets made their
3rd appearance of 2013 at Grays Harbor
Raceway on Saturday night, and when the dust
settled, Jared Peterson scored his first win
of the 2013 campaign. After taking the early
portion of the season off due to work
responsibilities, Peterson made his first
start of the year at GHR and pulled off a
clean sweep of the evening, setting fast
time, winnng his heat and taking the lead on
lap four from Ariel Biggs to grab the lead
and the win in feature aboard the Carla and
Gaylon Stewarts #3s XXX. |

Carpenter Leads XXX 1-2-3-4 at Skagit |
|
June 1st. Triple
X Chassis dominated the 360 division at Skagit
Speedway on Saturday night, with Kelsey Carpenter
leading the way to the checkered flags. Kelsey
meticulously worked his way into the third position
by mid race, but had a large hill to climb to get
into contention for the race win, as fellow XXX
drivers Mack Brown and Brock Lemley were setting a
torrid pace at the front of the field. Finding
smooth sailing wherever he put his car, Carpenter
reeled in the two leaders from over a full
straightaway back to close within a car length on
lap 23. With the white flag looming, Brown and
Lemley found themselves jockeying with a lapped car
for track position coming out of turn two, causing
contact between them and ending with both cars
facing the infield. This handed the lead to Kelsey,
who would bring the final two laps home for his
first win of the year, followed to the line by
fellow XXX drivers Kenny Rutz, Colton Heath and
Tyler Anderson. |

26th. Brent Marks had a fantastic weekend
of racing in Central Pennsylvania, capping
it all off with a win Sunday at Selinsgrove
Speedway. Marks ran second for the first
half of the contest before railing the high
groove for a pass at lap 18, taking the lead
which he would stretch to 3.5 seconds before
crossing under the checkered flag first in
his XXX chassis. |

Reutzel Wins Big with ASCS |

26th. Aaron Reutzel was on rails on Sunday
night, as the Clute, TX driver picked up
another win with the ASCS Gulf South region.
After taking his XXX chassis from 8th to 1st
in the heat race, Reutzel made easy work of
the field, taking the lead in the feature on
lap five from his third place starting spot. |

May 26th, 2013 - Kreutter Pulls Off 3rd Victory At
Eriez |

26th. Scott Kreutter entered Sunday as the
only driver to win multiple Patriot Sprint
Tour races at Eriez Speedway, a distinction
he would continue to hold leaving the
1/3-mile oval as he pulled off the
three-peat. Kreutter, 26, of Alden, NY,
claimed his third consecutive victory at
Eriez Speedway Sunday Night in his XXX
Sprint Car, inheriting the lead on lap 17
after Justin Barger spun out of the top spot
and then staved off charges by Bryan Howland
and Dave Ely for his fifth career PST win,
his third at Eriez. |

Montieth Leads XXX 1-2 at Lincoln |

25th. Being in the right place at the right
time can pay off big, and that’s exactly
what happened on Saturday night for Brian
Montieth and the Premier Auto Works #21 XXX.
After qualifying 4th, Montieth had raced
into third place in the A Main when the lead
cars made contact on lap 27, opening a
window for “The Edge” to squeeze through
into the lead, which he would hold on to for
the $5,000 winner’s check. Montieth was
followed to the line be fellow XXX driver
Fred Rahmer. |

Morton Wins First Feature with OCRS |

25th. Chance Morton is now a winner with
the OCRS series in his XXX chassis. Just a
few short weeks after his brother Kade
picked up his first win, Chance used the
inside line on a very slick Caney Valley
Speedway to take the lead on lap six and ran
away with the win from there. |

X chassis, passing the leader on lap 11 en
route to the win. |

18th. Chalk up win number 3 for Brock
Lemley at Skagit Speedway this season. A 5th
place time trial effort followed by a
runner-up in his heat race gave Brock and
the Valliant Racing #8 XXX an outside row

up to second on a lap 3 restart, Lemley
would blow past the leader on lap 7 to take
the lead and the win, his second in 410
competition and third overall of the year. |

Covington Turns Luck Around at Thunderbird |

17th. After being so close to victory
multiple times this year, Matt Covington
finally found luck breaking his way on
Friday night. After leading early on a rough
but fast Thunderbird Speedway in Oklahoma,
Covington inherited the lead on the final
lap after the race leader encountered
mechanical woes to score the win in his T&L
Foundry Sponsored XXX. The win is Matt’s
first this season, and comes after having
led multiple mains himself only to be taken
out by lapped cars. |

11th. Brent Marks is
ready. With the best Sprint Car racers on the planet
due in PA this week, Brent and his Brent Marks
Racing team are entering on a high note following a
win Saturday night at Lincoln Speedway in
Abbottstown, PA. The win was Brent’s third of 2013
aboard the BAPS sponsored Triple X powered by Rider.
“We really needed that win”, said Brent in victory
lane. “My guys have stood behind me and keep giving
me good cars”. This was Brent's third
victory of the year in his Triple X chassis, leading
fellow XXX driver Brian Montieth to line for the
win. Brent also won his heat race, keeping the
streak alive and now winning an amazing 8 stright
heat races at Lincoln. |

weekend in a row, Jeremy Burt parked his XXX
chassis in victory lane. The win came again
at Marysville Raceway Park in their 360
sprint division, where Burt railed to the
victory on Saturday night, extending his
point lead. |

had to shorten their feature event on Saturday night
due to conditions becoming too dusty for the
drivers. Despite the dust, Rocky Borys survived and
thrived for a feature win in the Sprint Car division
in his Triple X chassis. |

Weldon Sterner Memorial Win for Montieth |

4th. After a few week absnece, the winning
ways have returned to the Premier Auto Works
camp, with Brian Montieth parking the Jerry
Parrish owned #21 XXX in victory lane this
weekend at Lincoln Speedway. With $6,900 on
the line for the winner of the Weldon
Sterner Memorial, Montieth took the lead
from fellow Team XXX driver and new Lincoln
Speedway track record holder Fred Rahmer to
score the big win. The victory was Brian’s
third of the season and continues the strong
run for Triple X in the state of PA. |

4th. Give Jeremy Burt the outside pole
position and clean air and watch out: the
former Marysville Raceway Park track
champion will be near impossible to beat, as
proved by his second win of the year on
Saturday night. Burt found a line around the
outside of Marysville Raceway Park that only
his Triple X could navigate to score the
wire to wire win and stretch his early
season advantage in the point standings. |

4th. The pairing of Brock Lemley and
Valliant Racing has been working to near
perfection, as the Bellingham, WA driver
brought the team another victory on Saturday
night at Skagit Speedway. Doing double duty
at the 3/10 mile clay oval, Lemley led every
lap of the 410 feature to score win #2 on
the year in their XXX chassis. This was on
the heels of a second place performance
earlier in the night during the 360 main
event. |

Miller Wins At Cottage Grove in XXX Dominated Race |

4th. Year after year, race after race, all
Kyle Miller does is win. This proved true
once again at Cottage Grove Speedway on
Saturday night, as Miller led the NWWT
regulars to another victory in non-wing
action in his Triple X, his seventh career
win at Cottage Grove without a wing and
ninth career NWWT triumph. Miller’s win came
in front of a XXX dominated race, with five
of the top six finishers (Sterling Kane, Pat
Canfield, Bill Winsley and Kyle Mehner)
running Triple X chassis. The win completed
a clean sweep for Miller, who set quick time
and won his dash and heat as well. |

4th. Arlington, WA driver Zach McCabe is

Saturday night at Skagit Speedway. McCabe

first time this year with a wire to wire win
at Wayne County Speedway in Ohio. Mumaw

Montieth leads Triple X 1-2-3 @ Lincoln |

April
27th. Putting his recent struggles behind
him, Brian Montieth raced to the win this
past Saturday night at Lincoln Speedway in
classic Montieth fashion. Brian raced from
deep in the pack to the lead, then checked
out on the field for his second victory of
the year in his Triple X, followed to the
line by Adam Wilt and Fred Rahmer in their
XXX chassis. Montieth now sits third in the
Central PA point standings, behind Rahmer
and Brent Marks, giving Triple X the top
three in the Central PA race as well. |

27th. After battling engine issues early in
the season, Bradley Terrell conquered both
his mechanical gremlins AND the ultra tough
Civil War Series on Saturday night at
Petaluma Speedway. With the series invading
his home track, Terrell thrilled his
hometrack fans by taking the lead on lap
five in his Triple X chassis on his way to
his first win of the year and his first ever
triumph in Civil War competition. |

Dominating Win for Young |

27th. Triple X went 2 for 2 at Lincoln
Speedway on Saturday, with Niki Young
dominating the 358 feature on his way to win
number one on the year. Young started tenth
and was up to third by lap three and was
into the lead at the halfway point. From
there, Young stretched his lead and was not
challenged, parking his Triple X in victory
lane after a two second margin of victory. |

Dream Comes True for Cockrum |

26th. A lifetime of dreams came true for
Shane Cockrum on Friday night. Cockrum
picked up his first Midget victory of his
career in POWRi National Midget action at
Jacksonville Speedway in Illinois. After a
highly successful career in modifieds and
late models, Cockrum began his transition to
open wheel racing in 2009 and has run a
Triple X chassis from the very beginning. On
Friday night, Cockrum took his Esslinger
powered XXX to the win, passing the current
POWRi and USAC national champions on his way
to the victory. |

near and dear to Aaron Reutzel’s heart, as

Haudenschild showed he was going to be a
force to be reckoned with at Attica Raceway
Park. He came out swinging in 2013 and last
week scored a second place at the track
against the All Stars. On Saturday, the
Wooster, Ohio native would take the lead on
lap 14 and would hold off Dale Blaney to
score his first ever Attica 410 sprint
victory. “Again Ripper had the car awesome
and I’m really comfortable right now and I

ability was called into question, Fred
Rahmer rose to the occasion with a win at
Williams Grove Speedway for the 24th
straight year on Friday night. “Pretty good
for a no drivin’, washed up sonbitch”
exclaimed Rahmer in victory lane. “This
Triple X Car was really good…Moon and
Freddie gave me a great car”, said the Hall
of Famer after leading all 25 laps from the
pole to win his first race in a Triple X
Chassis and score the first win for new car
owner Rob Sell / Sell Racing. Rahmer’s new
deal with Sell has proven very fruitful in
2013, as the potent #20s has been a
consistent top 5 car, which has helped the

Sherm Toller Memorial at Marysville Raceway

Brian Montieth hadn’t seen his crew, much less sat
in his new Triple X Sprint Car until Saturday
afternoon at Lincoln Speedway. However, right out of
the blocks, Montieth showed why he was a double
digit race winner in 2012 and a multiple time
Lincoln Speedway Track Champion by blowing away the
opening day field at the Annual Icebreaker 30 by
taking a dominating win. Montieth came from 8th
starting position to the lead at the halfway point
and then ran away and hid for his first win of many
in the Premier Auto Works #21 Triple X. |
