It was a great weekend out West for Brady Bacon who picked up two more wins with the USAC National Sprints, including the $20,000 Oval Nationals finale on Saturday night at Perris Auto Speedway in California. After outdueling fellow Team Triple X driver Robert Ballou on Thursday night, Bacon was dominant in the 40 lap Saturday feature, coming from fourth to the lead on lap ten and going the rest of the way unchallenged for the huge victory. |

After winning Thursday night's prelim main event, Macri was buried in the field for the 50 lap Saturday night finale. A two day show ended up being a three day show up in Edmonton at Rad Torque Raceway, but the result ended up being the same after two features, with Kyle Evans winning in his Triple X sprint car.
